Djokovic actually did beat both Federer and Nadal in his peak, so we cannot go by what could and could not have been. There is no denying that Federer is a far superior talent than anyone but Djokovic is able to finds ways. However, I completely agree that Federer would completely outclass anyone if the courts are faster because he has the better serve and better reflexes. There is no point putting one over the other because all the big threes are very consistent but have contrasting styles, since Federer is your first crush he is your favourite. Even I enjoy watching Federer's points more than anyone, he is blessed with an aesthetically beautiful technique.

You’re correct Djoker did win a few matches when both were mostly prime-however taking a step back: Although Djokovic has won slightly most on paper between the big three rivalry, Djokovic hasn’t had as much of a continuous domination of the sport as did Federer (237 weeks at top, 5 US Open wins & Wimbledon wins in a row, & added up to the 8 Wimbledon titles’ record, stand alone record of his). And in the last 7/8 matches with Nadal Federer won (mainly by help of his neo backhand), a statistic that cannot be ignored-many who prefer Djokovic or Nadal omit this fact that Roger’s backhand in his comeback was not a liability but arguably the greatest one-handed backhand! May also recommend an article by an assist. Sports Professor though the Atlantic, “What Every Professional Tennis Player Does Better Than Roger Federer,” which argues that his uniquely losing more matches than any other while still winning more points proves his superiority overall.
