Fed I don't think gets credit for his virtually flawless technique. It's even more impressive given that he's hitting with a low power , high control 90 inch frame! It's also interesting to note that he has a relatively short back swing...and most of his swing is completed say within, idk the last 2 feet before he strikes the ball? He also seems to use more wrist action than any player I believe. It's a delight to watch Roger strike a tennis ball.

hes why i got into tennis. when i first started i couldnt understand why i couldnt hit a ball like him. many, many hours of practice later and copying his technique turned out to be a great decision.

He can strike well with a short swing because his racquet is heavy. Sorry I don't speak English

Interesting points. You could be right. For wrist action though, Kyrgios takes the cake..

well said; if you don't use your wrist for lag in today's modern tennis then you might as well forget about this sport

His forehand takeback has changed so much. This 2013 takeback is quite big when compared to 2016-2021.

A bit, not so much honestly. However, if you compare his take-back in 2011 to 2016-2021, there is definitely a noticeable difference. And obviously his take-back was even bigger in 2003-2006. In 2019 his forehand take-back became the most compact.

It's annoying when people clap during practice. Neither player is trying to win. It's practice.

....for one, a competitive person is always doing their best to execute their skills well and win. it is true it's more friendly than a match, but in every practice point or set players at all levels should be and are trying to win. for two, it's two of the best tennis players to ever live. sorry our appreciation gets in your way, princess.

Roger looks like he's making fun Stan's way of serving the slide step with the back foot style. you notice he does it a few times after laying down a few serves. I like Rogers way of keeping both feet planted until launching up into the serve. the other way looks feminine to me for some reason.
