Anyone who has a problem with Nadal’s character should take a look at how he handled this loss. Beautiful friendship and rivalry.

Does one occasion reflects everything? Thats like saying Hitler is a role model because he donated to an orphanage.

IMO, this was the greatest match ever played

Ah yes..the match that kickstarted the most beautiful and my favorite tennis year, 2017. As a Fedal fan, to get this final when no one, including myself, ever thought we can have such a moment again with both of them, was simply breathtaking. I remember, I never felt so much joy and happiness in watching a tennis match before, or since. After this, we were blessed with other 3 encounters between them and both rolled back the years and dominated the tennis world once again, grabbing and splitting between them the 4 GS and most of the important titles that year. It felt like 2007, not 2017. For that primarily, for making our past a present again, there will never be another year in tennis for me, like 2017. All that year, I felt like I was dreaming. Thank you for posting this!

I’m on the same boat, I was kinda relieved that Djokovic is recovering from his elbow injury to make this happen. Federer in 2015 has already at this level and ‘figured’ out Nadal. Finally he won a GS after 5 freaking years. Its one of the only matches I have watched in full, live.

@@vijayla21 There was no excuse for Djokovic, Federer just came back from a worse injury here also, and beat Nadal. Then Djokovic again lost in 2018 AO in a year where he won a Grand Slam, so no excuse for him there either. He played, so he was good to go.

@@isaacflorez4820 I ain't making excuses, I just stated what happened and how I felt. Every titles won is DESERVED. It doesn't matter if Djokovic didn't play in AO22, the champion is Rafael Nadal.

Single handed backhand, and the angle produced is treat to eyes. Roger mastered that.

The most difficult shot to master. Too hard for today's players.

Throughout the years I have seen many talented players with aggressive games, but Roger is the Maestro for many reasons. His aggression was relentless and pure genius. He elevated the sport, and his phenomenal rivalry with Rafa forever transformar the sport. BRAVO GOAT🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊😊😊

There is a saying that comes to my mind when Federer is playing: "Money can't buy class".

Great upload! Still my favourite match of the last 10 years. Yes I am biased. But the 5th set so exciting.

Best match ever. Federer (unexpectedly) in form, neo-back hand with confidence and foot work wore Nadal down in the end. What a joy. Hurrah for Roger and tennis!!
