Dear Sir Roger, I hope this finds you well. I have a few questions. Is our universe one half of an ER bridge at the centre of which is the next eon? Is our CMB the (event) horzon at the beginning of this eon in our side of a supersymetric structure? Do we observe/experience time and the exponential expansion of our universe as we travel towards a 'conformal singularity' and gravitational centre of the ER bridge, whereupon is the beginning of the next eon? Could we observe mass dependent local variance (macro filament structure due to spagettification) in the over arching exponential expansion within the ERB, while still heading toward conformity at it's epicentre and the beginning of a new eon? Are are already in one side of the conjoined wormhole or ERB? Many thanks should you give this any of your valuable time, Yours in faith with hope for understanding,

I think a black hole can be at one end of an ER bridge, and may led to another side though a wormhole, as argued by Leonard Susskind. But probably not our universe. At least I think Sir Roger see the singularity of a black hole and that of beginning of the universe as two very different things.

@@CWChung many thanks for your reply. I was looking for a mechanism to explain the exponential expansion of our universe which could be described by attempting to transit an ERB. The CMB could theoretically be the inside of the event horizon. The inversion point in the ERB is Where physics breaks down we are left with conformal massless particles at the speed of light without space time or scale.

@@Guide504 What you are looking for sounds like sci-fi to me. But yes it will be a Nobel-prize-level achievement if one can explain the cosmic inflation.

I'm not that boring, I give the possibility of fun things, remote communication may be possible. It can be a form of energy that is not limited by the speed of light, or an entity that is not energy, even everything can occur in a place without space.

Human intelligence is many-layered. It has meta-knowledge on top of meta-knowledge on top of… etc. @thewebsir (Ugur Yilmaz) mentioned AlphaZero. I wonder how it would deal with the chess puzzle at @6:00 ? Maybe it is clever enough - even though it wouldn’t be able to articulate it. But if it wasn’t competent enough, it could be trained (i) to learn how to win at chess (done, tick), (ii) separately, to learn how to not lose at chess, and then (iii) having a higher-level make a position assessment to switch between ‘play to win’ and ‘play for a draw’. Human chess players are conscious of this switch (and some poor players might need this pointing out to them). This is some higher level understanding - but not so high to be out of reach of a bio-inspired machine-learning machine. AlphaZero is a huge achievement. But research work carries on. A current research goal is explainability e.g. ‘why do you think that what is immediately in front of you is blue sky rather than a truck trailer with a picture of blue sky on its side crossing your path’? (yes, Tesla?) Explainability is a meta-intelligence. 1995 was 28 years ago. We don't know how many extra meta layers we have to go for AI to answer this problem as well as a human. But in 28 years’ time, I bet we’ll be a long way forward on explainability and a lot more besides. Is there anyone willing to bet that it will *never* be possible for a computer (executing a machine learning algorithm) to deal with this puzzle as well as a human?

The Nobel Prize say nothing about anything. Thank God the Nobel Prize did not exist during the majority of human history, and the greatest achievements in science.
