Awesome album and song and a great video. I wish David Gilmour and Roger Waters could have settled their differences before Rick Wright passed away in 2008, a full reunion of Pink Floyd would have been epic to see. By the way, does anyone know who the woman in this video is with the monkey on her shoulder and walking the poodle? Because she is a real knockout as well as the epitome of the expression "I love the way her 2 legs make a perfect ass of themselves." xD

Remind me of road trips with my dad and cousin. I used to love all their music. I started producing my own music and come back to this album all the time to listen to perfection on production, sound engineering, back ups everything. Played a big part on my prod skills. Roger is a Geeeenius

Used to listen to this album on a Tape in the car with my Dad when I was little, always loved it, but appreciate it so much more as an adult. I want to be home with my monkey and my dog.

I really like this album as a period piece. I think people who give it shit for it being "too eighties" miss the point -- it's pastiching eighties radio culture and radio cuts of the era.

@@catfan-si4mk I like it but could have been a lot better IMO, it's incoherent as a concept album if you compare it to the final cut or the wall, you can't really understand the concept of the album without reading about it first. They also cut out a lot of tracks which flesh out the story a lot, there's a "fan cut" on youtube somewhere that has the demo tapes for those tracks. Still, musically I think it's roger's strongest solo album and has the most interesting/original concept

@@morisan42 Great comment you really summarized it up quite nicely. I always felt it was rushed to production to compete with Momentary Lapse of Reason, which sucked by the way. This is def is Roger's best album and my 3rd favorite "Floyd" album.

Roger hates it, which is silly, it’s very fun and not so dark as usual. He sat in his studio and thought it up, wrote lyrics, played every instrument including Sax to kinda show that. His Floyd buddies could all be replaced by he alone. Thus his disdain. It was made out of anger. If you wonder what real Floyd would have been like, well there it is. Just saw his show in 18 and All that was needed was Roger. One old guy is enough, replacing the old gang is simple. There really is no uniqueness there. Roger does a perfect Dave on Powers That Be. Simple but beautiful melodies. Roger wrote em anyway.

I used to have Radio Kaos on VHS cassette in the 80s, a black background with a green transmitter over it. I lent it to a friend back then, not seen him or the VHS since. Lol.

Weird this is a different edit than on the VHS tape, on that one it ends with the camera pulling back on Sunset Strip which was a shot I liked living in LA, this version doesn't have that
