People get mad all they want but everybody band got southern in their DNA nowadays . Everybody trying to crank up load up on B-tones all types of SU stuff. Truth hurts but listen to this go back to the 90's 80's Era and look at videos. Half these bands today are nothing like they are today. They have changed their entire style to mimick other bands. Tape doesn't lie.

Both bands did a great job. Southern had more balance and power when needed. Also the arrangements were better. Alabama did not have any bottom or balance. The arrangements were a tad bit on a lower scale. Again both bands sounded good. Southern with the W for me.

To say Alabama didn’t have any bottom or balance means you don’t have functioning ears. The only thing Bama State needs is a trumpet section to match the power of their mellophones but y’all will get on here and say anything to try distancing your favorite band from the next.

Bama State blew that SZA on Southern so lovely that they went back to Baton Rouge to arrange it and Brandy’s ‘Sittin On Top of The World’ and I still prefer Bama State arrangements on both tunes. If anybody played it safe it was SU.

Guy so bias he chose a southern video, and then attempted to justify that.😂 Neither band demolished the other and that’s the same sentiment from most none bias viewers. They guy from Langston is simple feeding off the other guy. He’s almost timid to say anything negative about southern when their mistakes are present the same as ASU’s. I gave southern the slight edge due to their trumpet presence, but that’s mainly due to numbers. If that gives you comfort, then I’m glad to assist.
