The sideshow statue is much better than the custom one. Not particularly close imo.

Great video, keep up the great content. I'm not big into statues but love to hear about them and the characters. Rouge has always had my attention. Orphan, daughter of Mystique, took powers from Cap Marvel, loves everyone until you piss her off. "hell hath no furry like a woman scorned" Thats Rogue.

I have the SideShow rogue, had since Jan 21. No noticeable dipping as of yet. My only complaint is that you can take the jacket off which is a shame because they did a great job sculpting hher back

Sideshow Rogue is my choice as well, though that custom is no slouch either (aside from the portrait). Can't wait until you obtain and review that other custom though, 'cause that one looked awesome!

Great video! I love my Sideshow Rogue Maquette! It's a very dynamic piece, showcasing her power of flight and strength at the same time! Which is fking amazing!!! The base is highly detailed as well...sculpted so well and the engineering of the statue is really good. Sideshow's best work so far..

Great Xtrumble. I always love a dynamic pose so I’d go with the sideshow. That being said I’m really kicking myself for not getting it when I had a chance. eBay sellers wont go under 1400. I can’t get myself to pay double for an extra head. Gonna wait a bit and worse case I’ll settle for the collectors. Can’t wait to see that new custom when you get it in! I think that one might take the win.

It's so weird.... I have no horse in this race (and love both statues) but for some reason I kept rooting for the SS Rogue. As though I was watching a basketball game. Hahaha! That new Rogue that you have coming in though.... that one looks like its going super hard to beat! Thanks for the rumble!

I finally dipped my toe on the Xmen Line of Statues. I resisted for a really long time because I wanted to consentrate mostly on DC and Anime but I had the opportunity to get this Rouge directly from Side Show for only $600 and my Reward Points pretty much covered the rest. I've always admired this piece and Rogue was my favorite female X-men so I pulled the trigger. Of course I'm in trouble now cause I'll have to get companion pieces. Guess it's time to start getting rid of some Anime pieces to make room for more X-Men. Awesome Review and Comparison! Both Rouge pieces are amazing but I do like the SS just a bit better mostly because of the face sculpts.

The sideshow statue is a lot more detailed imo, it also has a mucubmore nice look to it as well.

i do agree that the sideshow Roque is the better statue. But i'm very much excited with the custom roque that tearing apart the head of a sentinel.

Sideshow for sure. The custom is a great piece, but I think the sideshow gives a little more bang for your buck

Change my mind I think I'm going to have to go with the sideshow, because the paint job especially the colors on the face are done a lot better. And I personally would probably go with the other switch out head sculpt that looks more like the cartoon Rogue. I do like the high heel look on the custom like the old cartoon, but the boots look okay

I can already say my winner. 6:48 (it wins because I think its her best head piece.. or from ALL.. both statues. I like that hair the best) Its my favorite also because of what you said (a thing I agree with). The take on the statue and character is in a more reaIistic way / reaI human like. I didn't mind her classic look in the animated tv show (from the 90s.. I loved that tv show).. but for a realistic vibe (and maybe modern take too) I prefer the one I mentioned. / Also having her in a flying pose its also a PLUS in my eyes. :)

Botg of these definitely look good...I'd choose the one on the videos right side if she came with a flexing arm or something other then the wolverine claws, to me she doesn't need any of the other powers being displayed other then her strength!!

I like the sideshow one better, hands down. The paint on the face is way better, I love how well they got the flying aspect, hair is better, jacket is better, face sculpt and paint is better. Maybe the custom would look better if another painter gave the face paint another go at it. Also got the custom I couldn't tell the Gambit effect was a Gambit effect because I couldn't see a card, it looks like a pink flame. And not a fan of how the bone claws look, I like the look when the claws come from the top of the hand, not through between the knuckles/fingers, just a personal preference though.

I tend to agree. Sideshow Rogue is one of their best statues. Worth every penny and cent (till the final price) spent on this statue 😁 If you like X-men.. if you like Rogue and you have the money for this statue.. just fckin buy this (if its still available somewhere)

I would chose the sideshow I think it looks more realistic. The crushing of the sentinel finger is cool. The bone claws look cheesy.

Sideshow: Rogue, is better. I like the custom Rogue Vs. Sentinel, where she is ripping the Sentinel's head off, but too bad it's not licsenced to be an XM or Sideshow production. It seems as though sometimes these custom statue lines attend to look better than the licensed statues depending on the designs and concept ideas but overall i'd prefer the licensed statues because of their authenticity.

Mr X, these are both amazing pieces that anyone would be lucky to own. My vote is for the SS piece because of the base and her power of flight / strength on display....plus she looks amazing! The custom Rogue’s Wolverine’s claws look like stiff grey oatmeal or concrete in my opinion. Also, your links haven’t been working man!

The custom face is actually pretty realistic too. Theres actually real women who have that kinda doll like facial features. But it does look v comic-y bc of the less dynamic expression.

If we could put the sideshow rogue on the custom base. Then we got the perfect rouge state.. the rouge on the custom base looks like a toy action figure. But the base is badass.. ans the sideshow rouge looks incredible with a decent base..
