The plot of 'Jeeva' revolves around Jeevan Thakur's (Sanjay Dutt) fight against the local cunning money lender Lala (Pran) and his ally Inspector Dushant Singh (Anupam Kher) for killing his parents. Jeevan is raised by a gang of dacoits where he takes the name Jeeva. The action thriller gets its romantic touch when Jeeva fall in love with Nalini (Mandakini).

I agree nice comment bro..... I want to add a bit more. Gulzar sahab's lyrics are in shayrana andaz. Pacham da's music is awesome. For creating romantic atmosphere no need to take extra efforts. Specifically when the couple is simply walking towards each other with sweet smile on their faces. And the singers are too good. They have done full justice. And we are enjoying this wonderful masterpiece.

Really Ode to RD Burman, Ashaji & Amit Kumarji for such an excellent composition. Nothing beats this Melodious music today even with cutting edge technology and auto tune gizmos. Melody is Melody and I’m saying more so as I myself belong to the Industry but haven’t heard such tunes that cut straight to the heart. RD Burman had this innate ability to transform any tune into a hummable rhythm. Agreed he used to be inspired by the West but we must admire the Indian classical compositions from this great composer.

The poetry of Gulzar saab, given voice by Asha ji and Amit Kumar and all these put together with melody, harmony and orchestration by R D Burman saab. Pure bliss. Pancham da could do what other music directors did, but he had a little extra bit in his music that made these masterpieces.

Never seen and heard such a beautiful song , which truely confess the inner feelings of both , expressing what happens in heart about her / him in absence of him/her It is bringing tears in both eyes , rather can bring tears in both of their eyes who love each other from heart .The words coming from both of their lips and suported by lyricist and musician change the Mahol altogether To take to an extreme condition of sad and happy feelings

A gem of a composition which was lost in a super flop movie back then. Many such songs by RD were wasted then due to super flop movies. One more such song is Tere liye palkon ki jhalar. This song became a hit much later. This is pure RD GULZAR magic. Edit : The saddest part of this upload is deletion of one of my favourite para in Bollywood songs " Chhoti si Dil ki uljhan hai, Yeh suljha do tum, Jeena to seekha hai Markey, Marna seekha do tum" My God, I feel like crying listening to the above lines. It's good that Sony has uploaded the full song in another - only song- KZfaq upload.

Yes. Truly said,sir. Many of the great compositions of R D Burman were ignored that time, because either the film flopped or the film didn't release. One more great composition of R D Burman was 'Jise pyar zamana kehta hai naam uska to qurbani hai',sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Amit Kumar, from an unreleased film 'Tadap'. It was a masterpiece and one of the best compositions of R D Burman, unfortunately the film couldn't release and this beautiful song didn't get the notice of everyone. Also,another melodious composition of R D Burman 'Tadap jeene nahi deti tadap marne nahi deti',sung by Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar and Sadhana Sargam, from the same movie 'Tadap' was also ignored. In fact, R D Burman composed many melodious songs for the movie 'Tadap',but sadly the film couldn't release. Another beautiful song from the same movie was 'Tumhare roop ka sooraj',sung by Suresh Wadkar. 'Tadap' was a big disappointment for R D Burman.
