From the start of opening the box to the end of playing the magic cello music box welcome to the full step-by-step assembly video of the magical ‪@Robotime‬ ROKR Magic Cello.
This wooden model kit has less pieces than the magic piano kit, but surprisingly it actually took longer to assemble. It took around 4h to assemble, but it might have been quicker if I didn’t talk so much 😅
Talking about the kit, the actual box has far too much wasted space, from the outside it looks like there’s a lot of stuff in it than there actually is.
But the kit came with everything that you need, screwdrivers, 2 sandpapers, a nail file and a piece of wax.
I recommend you still take your own sandpaper and a thin piece of wax like a birthday candle for the gears as the provided was is too big to get in between the gear teeth.
I was quite surprised how easy basically all the pieces came out, it made the whole project way more enjoyable to build.
There also wasn’t too much sanding to be done on the gears especially, and yes, you still have to sand off all the joints/burrs to make sure the magic cello is smooth and looks great.
All the pieces were very easy to join together, but there are a lot of smaller thinner pieces that you have to be careful with.
I did manage to break 2 pieces myself, but it’s okay as they weren’t the very important pieces.
And at the end it didnt seem to work, but once I loosened the bow of the cello, it worked perfectly fine 🤩
