I have one fa.06...your videos are a godsend...I thought I'd use mine to compose a bit, record and save ..boy... it's a tricky machine to learn!..it's seriously great sound and sound manipulation, but frustrating!..

Hello. Could you join 2, 3 or 4 sounds within a group of 15 independently? I mean, have several subgroups within a studio set. Join 2 and 2, another 2 and 2 different, another 2 and 3 independent, for example. Thank you.

Why didn't Roland put faders on the FA series? When playing live, you'd usually want to move multiple faders up or down simultaneously, not "scroll" each one individually.

@@raynoldrandelG Get the new Fantom-0 series. They replace the FA series, and they have faders. Perfect for live play.

You don't have to hold SHIFT & hit Part View....you just hit the Octave Down or Up buttons that are to the right of the volume control & left of the screen!!

is there anyway tom adjust the volume for each voice in the layered sound by assigning a realtime knob or slider?

On my Fantom G the KBD switches only works with the Fantom G keyboard and does not apply split locations to any incoming midi. On the Fantom G split layers are not available through a external controller keyboard. Is this the same with the FA or did Roland just copy the same mistake into this board?

you cant bro... only way is connecting a midi controller with faders to it via 5 pin midi😭😭

Is it possible to adjust the volumes on the fly? E.g. during a performance, the way some keyboards have faders? Can the knobs be assigned to part volumes?

i think you can assign those knobs on the left to volumes. So Yes

hi ed, if im using a merge box with three synths, each synth has a different midi channel, can i assign splits to each keyboard with muliple voices, , im trying to do it but the split wont work for some reason hope you can help
