New subscriber here. I grew up watching Roland Martin and Bill Dance. Yes I am learning. I fished some with my father as a kid. Mostly in small rivers and farm ponds. I quit for many years but now I want to get back into it so I am watching these videos to learn and yes I am learning a lot. Thank you for posting.

I'm super happy the way you tied that knot because alot of people said don't double up the line when doing a Palomar knot. Shows them wrong because yes a legend does it the same way.

We all know there is a 🤿 scuba diver under water attaching bass to his lures. JK. I grew up watching him and all the other great bass fishermen like Jimmy Houston; Bill Dance; Hank Parker and Al Linder just to name a few. Tight lines!

Just wondering if you collapse the barbs on your hooks? I do catch and release and I don’t want to injure any fish that is making me enjoy fishing. I know Jimmy Houston removes barbs and that’s just how I feel. Your videos are very informative…God bless you.

I wonder what rod and reel you're using here. I've used a 7' medium heavy rod with 14lb fluorocarbon for crankbaits and feel like I lose alot of fish.
