@@TerryWoods-r7g i got technical manual that is written by Roland. Cap's SPEC is there.But Same type cap is expired.i found same Reactance cap in electronics parts market.

But in general, the situation with these machines today is such that they are repaired either on their own (of course, you need to have many years of repair skills), or by referring to thematic forums (for example, VS-Planet) and draw advice and experience from other users there. Hi Ryldo, none of the faders fit directly into the 2400 except genuine ones. For this machine the faders were made by Panasonic for Roland, they are unique. And even the faders from the 2480 won't suitable since they differ in size and are just as unique. These days, perhaps somewhere in the official Roland in Japan there is still a some of faders, but you need to ask them. I installed other, non-original 100mm long faders on my VS machines.

I replaced all the caps on a 2480, all the surface mount ones and the large filter cap. The PSU I left alone. It's easy to read the values off the side of the caps. It's difficult to open up and access the boards but with patience you can get it running again.

To install a hard disk in the machine, no special software is needed. All you need is a sata-ide adapter and a couple of cables to connect it all.

Лучше конечно все поменять (всё равно залезать и браться за паяльник), в целом шумовой фон в том числе по земле и в виде возможных наводок станет намного меньше. Конденсаторы для ответственных ремонтов я ставлю Панасоник, серии fc, fm, fk, fr, а в данном случае нужно было отремонтировать оч оперативно (и себе), поэтому просто поехал в местный магазин и набрал того, что было в наличии поприличней ))) заказывать и ждать Панасоник было долго…

This may be a problem with the power supply, or with dried capacitors from time, or the hard drive that is in your VS machine is faulty. You can try to change the hard drive to a new one and try format it (but HDD/SSD does not exceed the capacity of 120 GB, otherwise machine will work unstable). There is also the possibility of internal system errors or program crashes, but these are very rare problems and usually these machines run very reliably.
