Hey I have a couple videos on this as well. I've been sampling both loops and full backing tracks with click on one pad. So lets say the top 3 pads are Intro, Verse, Chorus....I'll have it set up clickL and LoopR and assign all three to mute groups so they will stop when the next one is hit and the click is already synced up with each pad. With the help of the on board click you can get the intro count offs and go from there. I also use full tracks in the same way. I use to have 2 different pads set up like he does but since we're not running stereo, it makes more sense to do it this way. Ill probably do an updated video on the way I've been doing it pretty soon.

Hey Ryan, thanks for these videos. I have been going crazy trying to figure out the spd-sx and the backing track with a click. Just waiting on the 3rd video to put it all together. #lifesaver.

You can do it even easier, by looping a small 4 bar click track in the Spd-Sx instead of using full track of click track and loosing memory on the Spd-Sx.

2 simple question: how you connect d SPD SX to the pc? i have USB MIDI (the one that is a circle) that s all i need? second question: i want to create a folder with ALL my samples and then select de sounds of the pads, can i?

Hello, just wondering, if you stick a sample (e.g. the click track) in the sub sample on the software screen will it only come out if monitors or headphones? How do you achieve this if otherwise? Cheers

I've been using the spds original with a 1 bar click loop on 1 pad triggering 1 and 2 bar loops as and when required from other pads. The original spds has a massive hole in functionality in that only I should be able to hear the click. No one would ever want clonk clonk clonk going to front of house would they. As a bodge I've had to pan the click left, everything else right. I've then had to put a dummy plug in the left output leaving me with a mono output to the pa. That's far from ideal and I'm baffled why you can't route the on board click (that you can only get to in phrase maker) to the headphones only having it set at the tempo you've assigned to the patch. That way you wouldn't need to take up a pad with the click and you'd have the stereo instrument that its supposed to be. Has this been rectified in the spdsx? Can you route the internal click to the headphones only or at least route one sample to only headphones? I'm really tempted to get one for the ease of use with a PC alone but if it doesn't do what even the original should have with click routing then its really not worth it for me. Surely I can't be the only one that would need this? Cheers
