I can NOT stress enough how important it is to pray for your spouse! My sweet husband and i have been married for 11 years. My husband is an over the road truck driver and has been for 16 years... He has spent the majority of those 16 years alone. Also he had a very rough childhood so he didnt have an example of how he should act he only knew things he didn't want to do! So he is not the strongest in the communication department. He tries very hard but it has not been easy. There have been countless times when i try to talk to him about certian things and its like running into a brick wall. I would pray God please show him what im trying to say please help us to understand each other.... And I cant tell you how many times He's come back to me a few weeks later and says God has really been working on me about this im sorry i undertand what you were trying to tell me now. Pray for each other! And pray together! If you've never dedicated time to hold one another and pray together out loud you are missing a depth of relationship that cant be found anywhere else! I have listened to Jimmy and Karen for the last 16 years. I can honestly say bcause of their teachings my marriage is intact. Our marriage has been a topic of conversation for many people in my life "purely speculation and gossip" bcause of lack of information but 1 thing I have stood on to them is MY MARRIAGE IS OFF LIMITS TO EVERYONE BUT ME AND MY HUSBAND. I ask God everyday to help me to be a Proverbs 31 wife and all I can say is bcause of the teachings of Marriage Today I believe that I have hopefully done a good job. I thank God and Marriage Today for the instructions. 💗💖

@@FatimaBWriting Congratulations on being newly married. The adage is true its easy to get married but hard to stay that way. When people ask about your marriage politely let them know that good or bad I don't talk about my marriage. Believe me people are open about their marriage and I don't want to know about it. That's between themselves. It will slightly offend them but look at it like this in the long run you will be glad you made this choice. People are good at giving advice on your marriage when they can't run their own. So don't give them any kind of bone to nibble on. Good luck and I hope you pass this knowledge on. But stand firm on this. Put you and ur husband first.🥰

Holy Spirit teach me how to be a wife.. my youngest respectfully says " I don't want teaching from you on relationships". Help me keep my thoughts to myself and my facial expressions too when I'm in the flesh.! Lord God, thanks for listening to me where I am.

I cannot tell you how much I wish that I had been given the opportunity to listen to you before my marriage fell apart. I know now that God has other plans, a totally different direction for me to go in to help thousands of other people. But listening to you has opened my eyes to so many things that I can now see had deviated from a path of love and respect. The narcissism, physical and mental abuse and so many other things are very real and I love that you recommend praying for guidance and help in adapting to promote the love and bond instead of so many others that basically just say pray and all ur problems will go away. God is there, Jesus is with us and we NEED to rely on them for guidance and opportunity to ACT to make a difference and WE need to make that difference. THANK YOU😊

I'm single and I was blessed by this. It's a wonderful confirmation as I've often thought that I want to be like the Holy Spirit to my future husband, now I see why...it's challenging but God will help all of us to love and serve like Him, amen.

Dominate leader husbands always want to be in control, wives want their husbands to be the initiative lover, don't be so aggressive, and don't bully eachother. The Holy spirit doesn't in force anything I just love you both Jimmy & Karen ❣️

we do and can do nothing right on our own right...We ask the Holy SPIrit..for it is not by might but by the Power of the Holy SPirit PAtricia. What we can do, we have seen. Teh results tell all. But that's not in alignment with the WOrd of God.

My husband belittles me and treats my kids like dirt. He tells me I need to stay out of their lives and let them handle themselves, they come to me for advice I can't ignore them. He wants all my attention.
