From what I read the BLRO has a longer power reserve due to thinner barrel walls, updated/improved mainspring and a new, more efficient escapement. Nice video!

Given we have a Batman, and a Hulk, I think you should be the 1st to rename the Pepsi to its proper name, Superman

You can’t go wrong with either but Batman is still my favorite modern GMT. They really got everything right with this watch. That said, as soon as I am offered a BLRO I will take it.

Wow. I am fortunate to now own both. 2017 Batman and the 2018 BLRO. Just gorgeous time pieces. The weight relief from the jubilee bracelet is nice, BLNR is about 146-147 grams. BLRO is only around 138-139. Biggest challenge is which one to wear. Love them both. My DateJusts are now just gathering dust.

‘Tough watches to get.’ You aren’t kidding! My AD has had 4 Daytona’s come and go in the time I’ve been waiting and I’ve just had my Pepsi come in which was the first in that time! Mad. No wonder these are still rising in price. Understand why people don’t want to wait:)

No other blue & red ceramic bezel comes close to the Pepsi! Even though the colors look muted, it doesn't appear to have that metallic finish others do. Great stuff!

I’ve had both and I still have the new Pepsi now 2021 and I loved the wrist presence from the Batman due to the bigger lugs. I absolutely love the super jubilee and so comfortable and goes well with the Pepsi but not on a batgirl

Clicked this the second I saw it :) Edit: Both watches are beautiful, but the Hulk still sings to me more, there's something about the all brushed links on the bracelet that I just prefer over the polished center links. Great review though I'm glad to see you uploading alot more lately :)

Great video! However, 1 Oyster bracelet link equals 2 Jubilee links.... I’ve measured them because I have 8 inch wrists and add 2 Oyster links and 4 Jubilee links to my watches. You removed the equal amount, then weighed them.... Remove 2 more Jubilee links and weigh again and you’ll be even lighter on the BLRO.

Thank you for another very pleasant video. I think I finally got Rolex with the BLRO coloring now. I owned the Batman myself and found it was a bit too sporty colorwise. Now when seeing your comparison video, I realized that Rolex made the Pepsi more subdued in color to make it more versatile in non-sporty occations. Love it! I am on a waiting list for the Pepsi and will probably get in in a year or so :)

great video, well done. You asked which we prefer. I prefer the Batman, but with the Jubilee bracelet. Now you have a clearly more formal evening watch. I prefer the Pepsi with the Oyster bracelet. Now you have a more casual watch, normallly more suited to daytime. So my I answer is that I prefer you to switch the bracelets!!

PS. I much prefer the Red & Blue GMT with Jubilee. Again, thanks so much for great work here!

Have a Batman and a Pepsi on way. Just noticed the odd purplish blue - is this the same meh tone that ppl thought ruined the watches look? Should I skip it altogether and go for the GMT II Rootbeer two-tone instead? Can only get one watch this year locally and hate the idea of waiting another year over a dull muted colour mistake, lol.

The best one is the one that you can get from your AD.

Batman movement has now been upgraded. So they are essentially the same watch... Just color preferences.

I appreciate this video because it only confirms how much I love the BLNR. I think the Pepsi is very nice but I still want to go for the batman. Everyone told me that the only reason why I want the batman was because its the "newer" GMT. But my opinion hasn't changed. Thanks for the video.

If I could only have 1 watch, then I'd choose the Batman but since I already have a Sub I'd go with the Pepsi because there is way less overlap. I wanted to get the Batman as my next watch but I think it will be too similar to my Sub. I'm thinking a Polar Explorer II to change things up. It's a lot more unique and it doesn't overlap with my Speedy or Sub which are both conservative dark dialed icons.

The colors look a bit faded for pepsi, however that has been rectified in the latest version. Batman color is pretty consistent from 2013 onwards.

I know you can't just take a quick walk to the rolex store and pick up a sub date but can you please do a 4k review on the sub 116610ln. Yous reviews are great! Btw, when do you think rolex will meet the demand on the rolex sub?

Did you mention the color of the 24hr hand? Blue on BLNR and Red on BLRO.

Went to the Rolex Ad today got my BLNR adjusted and put my name on the black and green submariner “waiting list” i won’t hold my breath on them tho 😂

I still prefer the colours of the BLNR - Batman, but having seen and had both on the wrist, the pepsi has the edge with the jubilee, it is more comfortable. I was also surprised with how the jubilee looked against the watch, it looks really good when you see it in the flesh.

I was on the list for the Pepsi and Batman came in & they called...couldn’t turn it down. Guess I’ll have or hope to have both like you at some point then. You got the mark I color. My Pepsi color is soo a dark navy blue and a rich red. I think it looks much better now

Always been a fan of Rolex, however now they’re becoming more popular the ‘grey market’ are taking advantage of the lack of availability with massively inflated prices. They’re good watches but double the price in some cases good? I don’t think so with brands like Omega catching up with quality watches that are readily available. I also question the waiting list times at ADs. They’re watches not unicorn shit.

Thought I would have made up my mind, still as confused as ever. Both are nice in their own way.

Both amazing watches but I’ve been in love with my Pepsi ever since it touched my wrist for the first time. Maybe soon I will get to have the best of both worlds. That is.. if my wife doesn’t kill me before I get it out the box!

I own a Ceramic Sub so I’m not in the market for another Rolex sport watch. But if I were asked to choose here, I’d go with Batman. The Jubilee bracelet is a little too much for my taste. And, I would wait to pay the $12K list price; current US$ grey market prices for these pieces have gotten ridiculous ($16-20K for Batman and even higher for Pepsi).

Definitely- the BLRO is a better looking piece - as you know (from Instragram) I have a very similar collection to yours and having the Batman and BLRO as well, the Batman looks boring next to the BLRO. I wasn’t sure about the Jubilee but boy- it’s amazing

Never put it on the crown side .. even if it’s screw in ... it still affects the movement
