You are right! Everybody told on video pull out pins by pliers with hand. I tried several times never succeed. I was thinking use screw power to pull out pins and found out your video. What an awesome job!

Have you ever had it where a pin breaks off in a link during removing it? How would you then get it out? Thanks

Hello, do you know what is the size of the knurled pins for a 36mm Datejust from the late 80s? I want to order the replacements for mine but I dont have a precision way to measure it, thanks in advance.

This is an absolutely fantastic video. I’ve been looking for something like this for weeks. I have a stainless and gold 20 year old submariner with a 93253 oyster band. I really wanted to give this a try myself, but the tools are extremely expensive. My band has tubes as well. Do you have a business or would you consider doing this for others if you don’t? Thanks for posting this.

Hi Jason. What a great vidio. I can't believe rolex won't do this. They want to replace your braclet and keep your bracelet. I just had my 1993 rolex done in 2 weeks, full service too. Runs perfect and is spot on with time. Do you do these for a living? Your pin puller is brillant. I think that job could be bunch easier. A machine could be powered to remove the pins and replace them. There are millions of old rolexs at the bottom of peoples drawers and jewelry box's and jewelry stores because it cost to much to fix them. Silly. Thank you. I would love to bounce a couple ideas off you. You did very good work. Neal Lee Apollo Beach Florida

Thanks I’m a full time watch dealer and I do offer this as a service. And I agree it’s crazy rolex doesn’t offer this. It’s probably one of my most requested services.

@@jasonc6501 Jason, how many can you do bracelet in a day. I like your ingenuity with pulling the pins. Is that the hardest thing in the process? I owned a compounding nationwide pharmacy and each process was hard. We invented machines to handle hard issues filling prescriptions. When do cut 75% of work and didn't wear out the works. Like your press could have a motor on it to take apart and press in. How many can you do in a week? I know it's tidious work but it could be streamlined. Do you do a full service? There are so many watches (ROLEX) That need repair and stretch repair. Thanks for answeing. Look forward to talking this through. There tons more people looking for a solid 5000 Rolex then there is 50 k lol. Neal

Apart from just pressed down do you use adhesive?
@jasonc6501 Жыл бұрын
No adhesive is necessary the knurled pins spread as inserted

Great informative video, well presented and innovative. Problem I have is that I need to work with 18K bands. Any idea where I can source or make these 1.2 mm knurled pin in gold. Thanks for the invaluable information - a real public service.

I don’t sorry working on 18k gold bracelets for presidents is a whole different beast and requires significant gold work.
