Really cool vid - I love the way you incorporated the colors of the peoples costumes where applicable to the theme of the prediction - have always dreamed of going to Venice

I used to like watching his videos for this format - venezia scenery with watchtalk. Even though 9 out of 19, I didn't care for his watch selection, I loved Italy and watches. Then he changed the format and now sits in a room with a bunch of no-names pontificating about life for several hours at a time. I'm gone as a fan and honestly cant recall when was the last time I tuned into his vids. This has been a breath of fresh air, not for the stupid old boring rolex talk but for the Venice walk for sure.

Some solid predictions there Oisín. I’ve seen mock ups of a OP with a rotating bezel, the Turnograph, which looks interesting and would be a bit left field for the big R. Did you watch the video of Jenni and hubby talking about the Pepsi deliveries to the ADs? If that’s true it perhaps does indicate either production problems or they’re scaling back ready to drop it.

If they DO discontinue the Pepsi, I'll be even happier I got mine from my favorite AD in the fall of '22.

The rumours about the Pepsi bezel never stuck with me. Even on Rolex ‘s website, the sprite is more expensive than the Pepsi. If the bezel is so complicated to make, why is the green GMT more expensive 🤷‍♂️

Love the shots of Venice Whilst predictions are just that, anniversaries and historical precedents are at least a little more certain The 70yr anniversary of the GMT is 2024. Arguably it is for the Submariner as well, depending which date you go off. So, seeing some anniversary releases for those 2 lines is likely based on historical precedent. And Rolex anniversary editions are typically gold and green dials (gold Hulk Sub….or gold GMT green dial Sprite) or platinum and ice blue. The Milgauss anniversary isn’t until 2026. So likely in the works but for another year. Last years anniversary was the Daytona, so unlikely to see anything more. Rolex has only ever offered the oysterflex on premium ranges in previous metal, so unlikely on a steel sub. It’s also what differentiates the Yachtmaster as a separate line. The other dimension is Rolex increasing production, acquisition of Bucherer distribution channels, and promoting their Authorised pre-owned offering in an environment of fallling prices. How will Rolex maintain brand image and value with increased supply? Perhaps (speculative) more frequent use of limited edition runs, and it’s for this reason more than any other I think the discontinuation of the Pepsi makes sense, with alternate limited edition runs (coke or other). We may also see more limited edition ceramic dial Day-Dates (the puzzle was just the start!). 19:52 Let’s see !

What a visually exciting video! I love the costume associations with the watches, especially the Hulk. Nice touch pairing the green Laphroaig bottle with the green crystal of the Milgauss!! As for the Air King, I would love to see IDGuy’s mockup replacing three 3-6-9 with basic indices come to life.

Rolex starting rumours that watches like the Pepsi will be discontinued to build hype. You couldn't make this shit up. What on earth are they hoping to achieve with this, this is a watch that ADs get two of per year, and THEY have a waiting list of 250 people, so you have a 125 year waiting lis for this watch. It does not need hyping up to generate more interest for it.

Apparently Oisin, black and any other colour is easy to make as they actually make a complete red/green bezel and overlay black on top, so black can hide the red, but blue cannot when in ceramic. That's what I've been told. hence why there's no issues with the green/black LHD GMT.

I would love an Explorer in a white dial.

If Rolex makes a Deep Sea or Sea Dweller 43 in titanium then Oisin O’Malley must do a video comparing those models in steel and titanium as far as comfort and look. ❤

The Starbucks is a very wearable watch. Much easier than a green/green. I like how the 41mm green bezel sub can go with a lot of scenarios. It's the best sub date available right now.
