Hi George, great work 🙂. This was my first model and I broke also some peaces. But finally I enjoyed building it and I love it. Meanwhile I have a long to-do list and my next model is the victorian lantern.

Hi, George. I found your channel while looking for the UGEARS Butterfly assembly. Then I started looking at your other videos and this one made me comment, because I have it on my "save for later" list on Amazon. I really like how it looks, and not even the really fragile pieces will scare me once I get it. I'm relatively new to this hobby (10 days) and I'm already on my 4th piece, which I will suggest you, to go alongside the Ferris Wheel: the ROKR Romantic Carousel. It's taking me a while because I'm painting it as I go and need to wait for the paint to dry then give a second coating... Also, if you'd like, have a look at the Robotime City in the Sky (pre-colored) for a cute fantasy piece and the ROKR Starry Night if you like Astronomy. They are both music boxes and they're interesting builds. Keep up the good work!

I have the starry night, in my to do pile. The butter fly was a challenging piece.

I understand, I only started this since last Christmas, got one as a present and now I have over 20.

Hi George, Nice work! Yours came out great. I hope mine will too. This is my first piece like these, I also bought the swings one too, and I have 8 or 10 saved on Amazon, incase I fall in love with these. Lol I just started building this, and I'm using paint pens, after they've been removed and sanded, but before assembly, so far no need for 2 coats. I've cracked 2 pieces already, but I was able to get glue somewhat inside the crack, and I can't tell where the original crack is either. 😁 One question: How do you keep the dust off of it? I have numerous mini houses that I've built that came with a dust cover(if it doesn't come with one, I won't buy it)which I believe is necessary because trying to dust all the tiny delicate pieces can be challenging, to say the least. 😖 Do you think covering it with a lightweight towel would hurt it in any way? Any help would be greatfull. Thanks. 😊

how did it come out?

Quick question: I'd love to buy this but do you think there is a way to disable the music from playing while the wheel is moving?
@TheGeorge652 жыл бұрын
No, it's one of those chime things that is tied to the movement of the wheel. I guess you could cut off the metal bars that make the music. But that is extreme

I'm planning to buy the monocular telescope, first time. Any advice aside from being patient? 😂

yes. make sure you sand and use the wax very liberally. things that have precise gears will need to be waxed over and over as the wax dries out.

Can you paint them
@TheGeorge65Ай бұрын
Yes, you can, but I don't think my paint skills are up to it. Maybe when my son-in-law moves closer, I can get him to paint them.
