Roll20 tutorial on how to use fog of war and dynamic lighting! An easy to use, but very effective feature to use in your own games. Let me know if the audio is good in this one, still having some issues with it.

Quick tip instead of repeatedly rejoining as a player and checking visions for all your characters you can select a token as DM then press cntrl L and you can see through that tokens perspective. I don’t remember if you have to turn keyboard shortcuts on or if it is by default

Another quick tip to add as well you can go back to dm view by hitting ctrl/cmd+g

Could you do a video on how to increase the races, classes, and backgrounds in the charactermancer in Roll20 as a GM for players? As well as any way to update your own compendium for only parts of a rule book instead of the whole book (like new PC races, subraces, archetypes, or backgrounds).

I think the only way of doing that is purchasing the books on the Roll20 site and then sharing them with your players in the game's settings.

You can select the token and hit CTRL+L, it will preview what the character actually sees.

I only have one question, when you have monster that can hide in dim light, lets say spiders or characters with the skulker feat, how do you make the tokens only appear when they get within the radius of bright light?

Great question! I imagine there's some fancy stuff you can do with the API if you pay for the highest subscription tier. Otherwise, you'll have to do it manually sorry.

Could you recommend a marketplace adventure for a totally fresh DM? I noted the Dungeon of the mad mage. Thanks for that! I also want to thank you for all these videos! I watched all your tutorials just now and set up my first test server with macros, dndbeyond rolling and even the groove bot. Feeling ready to take a big leap into some premade adventures!

I'd recommend the Starter Set or the Essentials Kit. Also known as "The Lost Mine of Phandelver".

Here's a question. How do you reset the dynamic lighting? Let's say you run the game for a group, and want to run it again for another group.

Hmm that's a good question. I'd say try turning it off on the page and then turning it on again. But I'm honestly unsure. Or else copy the whole game and make a whole new game.
