As of November 3, 2021 the FreeX seems to be getting lower ratings than Rollo on Amazon. Any long-term observations as to durability and function?

The FreeX looks basically like a private label Zebra printer, with WIFI....? I'm sold on that. May have to pick one up!

Eric I’m sold on the FreeX, but I’ve had my Rollo for a little over a year and I’ll have to wait. I also have a Dymo. Thanks for sharing Eric.

Since you have multiple printers, you can set the FreeX as your 4x6 label printer, the Rollo as an FBA label printer and the Dymo for miscellaneous labels.

I roll with a Rollo for almost 2 years (It's good)... but follow you to find my 2nd. It's insane how tech has abandon printing. I'm sure I'm missing something REALLY REALLY complex... but getting a printer for a laptop, and android/apple is F(*)king Brutal. Cars, planes, and trains drive themselves... We can't print from a 2020 android tablet or phone. FYI... I know your workaround and thank you. Keep up the great work, because it's needed. Comparing it against Rollo isn't fair since it is close to your least favorite... but is this your top recommendation.

How do these printers work with Amazon EERO wifi?? Brother told me their wifi one is spotty on the EERO mesh wifi.. Which is better for this Amazon EERO wifi?

@@patpat6719 we haven't used it yet but I will say the set up is super simple. I owned a few thermal printers now and I always have had issues with setting it up. My selling point was you are not locked into proprietary labels. I will follow up once I use it to let you know.

The freeX printer is $249 on their website but $169 on Amazon and it has mixed reviews on Amazon mostly saying it’s not ready or polished for prime time. Choosing the right thermal printer seems to be a hassle lol

So the FreeX has a built-in battery? If so, how long is the charge on the battery? Am I missing something here? Also, does it have Bluetooth capability?
