This Rolls is the last word in pure luxury cruiser. This Rolls made that brand relevant again. The bosses prior to BMW would have never considered any car design like this Phantom.

Nice video, the way the gauges are illuminated reminds me of something out of an old aircraft's cockpit. The HVAC controls and etc all look like they could be in an aircraft. All timeless except from the idrive stuff like you said.

Back when this came out it was both British and German since it was owned by bmw. But modern rolls Royce cars uses their own platform and their own engine, basically they are mostly British engineering, and I’m hoping that they are more reliable then JLR vehicles

this is the best backlit dashboard i have seen so far in modern cars, not an eye fucking one... There should be a standard that would govern all car companies to make them like in this car, or like in the MB w115 White backlight..

Imagine getting yourself a mcdonald shake and just driving forward in the highway. I used to do the same thing with my peugeot 607 with was also very good sound isolated but its no comparasion to the rolls-royce.

I'm sure you get a million comments that you don't have time to reply to, but how do you get your camera in a good spot for the POV? With mine mounted on my forehead, basically at my eyebrows, it still looks super high and out of place. Might just be my shitty camera (Yi Lite), but thought I'd ask if y'all have any tricks. Yours almost seems chest mounted?

Somewhere between the Rolly Royce "boat tails" and the Rolls Royce SUV that "makes luxury off-road travel a reality for the first time" we've learned that you can't buy class, you can spend several million dollars with a classy British car manufacturer and still be a total @ss afterwards.
