The singer who just vanished reminds me of the singer Amy who disappeared (not the singer Amy who drank herself to death). I was waiting for Amy Duffy's next release... and waiting... Then years later the horrible story came out and I felt really bad for her. I don't care if you never record again Amy, I just hope you're safe and well.❤‍🩹❤

I gave each of my daughters a tickle trunk. (A memory box) My youngest was going through hers and found a drawing she did when she was around 8 years old dressed as a nurse. The caption was, I want to be a nurse for old people. She is now a nurse in geriatrics! She has such an old soul✌️❤️🇨🇦

What a genuine delight to watch. Seeing the joy on your face, looking back is an absolute pleasure. 11/10 wholesome content. Also isn't it funny how many of us sort of remember 2016 like it was the last time things were good and fun. Wonder if something happened at the end of that year to change things? Guess we'll never know...

This was really fun. I'm a newer viewer and it's really interesting to see what used to be with YT vs now. My favorite, though, as an American, is hearing what you thought of LA. I always wonder what people from outside think. My memories of London was that it was all a lot smaller than I expected. But everything's so spread out here. It's just fun to hear what everyone thinks. Thanks for sharing your memories!

@@ExtraRoly I’m super jelly bums of people in England in terms of the goth scene. Slimelight / a lot of good uk goth bands yea invented it sure 🤣 / and the clothesssss uhhhh 😩. Been told the black market in Camden is to dieeeee forrrr 😩🦇. My cousins over there keep hounding me to go over there as I’d be able to grow and succeed in a few talents. Eire sure shamrock island land of the miserated missionary beigists 🙄🤣.

Samies. I found out later she failed out of college and couldn't face telling everyone so she just disappeared, hurt so many peoples feelings. No one would have cared about her leaving college. It's weird the things that affect people so much.

Thats such a cool memory box! I want to start one but i dont do anything fun lmao The photo where you cut those people out is so funny! It was so nice to meet you at sitc in 21 like the panels and meeting people was so great and watching Noah perform but the actual setup of the event was rather shit so im not surprised they arent going to be remaking anymore events! It will be a shame tho because i loved meeting you and lux and hope i can do so in the future x

I grew up in the Anaheim/Fullerton area, and most of us avoid going to LA at all costs, lol. It's called staying behind the Orange Curtain, since we live in Orange County. If you ever venture back to Southern California, please consider Long Beach. It's technically in LA county but much more laid back and extremely LGBTQIA+ friendly. We've lived here for a few years now and it's so wonderfully diverse and still close to the larger cities in both counties. Thank you for sharing your memories. They were wonderfully DISGUSTING! 🖤🖤🖤

We have a really cool vintage candy store close to me. If there’s anything special you’re wanting I’d be happy to send it to you. Example they even have the Garbage Pail kids cards with the gum packs. Lots of other things popular in the 60s and 70s.

Yes!!!! Hollywood is pretty gross and very underwhelming. I live in Burbank, very close to Hollywood. When people come to visit I tell them I’m not going anywhere near Hollywood, or Los Angeles… it’s not what people think it will be. 😂 Sorry you came all the way to find that out! I’ve been to England a few times now and absolutely adore it. London mostly but a few other cities, hoping to see others next time.

Copenhagen Pride is fun! I think people in Denmark is more quiet, but its also a kind of an event for like, straight families? I experienced like, the silent bits, with lots of families showing their children and "educating" them on why the pride happens and looking at all the pretty people and fun people, and then there is the active part, but its more at the end, as most rainbow people are either IN the parade or waiting at the end for the show and so on.. I mean idk how it happend but i somehow kissed a random girl in the crowd, bc i told my friend she looked very pretty and cute haha! This year, my best friend is being part of the parade as a pup and i am joining the puppers! Idk what to expect, but it will be fun!

I like your shirt, I love that it shows of your tattoos! If you're going to get them, why not show them off? 😃 Ah, the good old days when you didn't have to worry about someone finding out where you live! Now it's more like "I'm on lock down forever, I'm never going outside again so people can't find me." This was so cool to watch! I laughed at the Trader Joe's bag, they've been bashed in the past for not being as good of a store as they claim to be. They still have the best ghost pepper flakes though! i've been to copenhagen price a few times. Not sure if i was there in 2016. I was so surprised that the local churches were flying rainbow flags and every governmental department was marching. it was fab. i miss it now because of the school holidays in the UK

I junk journal, so a lot of my memory stuff ends up in my handmade journals, but I'm a huge fan of keeping things that remind me of good moments. Also yeah, the rainbow merch thing 😂 I went through that phase too, and weirdly never really had a pride merch phase for trans-themed stuff. We only have a trans pride flag because our ex roommate left it at our old apartment 😂
