I agree. One tried to get me, even though I was going through an emotional issue at the time, I saw signs immediately. And the supposed man's picture was in my league, just how they talk is enough to know.

Right & I'm an 'old bag' too..lol..(I'm 69) My husband died 5 years ago. 2 yrs later I sold our home on 2 lakefront lots, (private lake) I moved to a smaller place, paid cash for it & a few other things, car, few furniture pieces, ect..then put rest of $ in a savings account, I live off my husband's SS check & me & my sister ho shopping about every week, I'm happy not lonesome or bored, so... nobody's getting my $ but myself, to do with as I choose. BUT got to say they tried, I left my fb page/status as married but few guys, of course younger than me & REAL handsome, managed to get through. Some comment on posts I put on fb, telling me how beautiful I am, to sdd them as friend..ect...but luckily I have a mirror. I reply no & stop asking cause it'll never happen, wasting their time on me..& they do ! AGAIN I have mirrors in my house. Also, I have teeth, dentures but still...

You make an excellent point. My husband had a terminal illness. In his last days he was belligerent and restless. (It was horrible and so sad). I had a difficult, stressful job with long hours and he’d keep me awake all night sometimes. When he passed I was grieved but also relieved. The horrible suffering we both endured was finally over.

I have no desire to go through any misery with a spouse or boyfriend again.

@@DelaniaAndTheDogs Sorry for your loss, but I can relate to your story. My husband died 5 years ago. (70 yrs old) I'd taken care of him for about 3 yrs after he started getting bad & bedridden. My house looked like a nursing home, bedside toliet, walker, table with meds, other needed things. I cleaned his butt, gave him baths in bed, cooked & carried him meals evt... And I, like you said, grieved but relived. I sold out & bought a smaller place, in town, got a different car. (paid cash) I'm actually happy living alone, I just do whatever I want to, & with money in the bank my sister & I go shopping about every week, eat out, have fun, take selfies & post on fb..lol.. shes older than me. I loved my husband & I miss him, but I miss the 'him' he was when we first married, not the 'him' last years of his life.

FYI: that crossing out of some of your sentences happens if you have a - (hyphen) before and after a section of words (I think). A lot of these people have a magical fairy tale mirror. I got rid of mine when I hit 40.

I was also scammed by a fake military scammer he got $9700 from me I was really frustrated I contacted the local police and banks but I could get help. My friend who also fell for these introduced me to hackbeign on insta he asked some questions and also some proofs and well wow I guess the scammer will be in jail somewhere but I actually got my whole money recovered. Try him out if you were also scammed.
