Gaja’s Romany Creams - 😄😄😄 Oven @ 180c - switch on oven when you roll out dough. Bake for =- 10 min Mix well till combined: 500g soft butter 1 cup of sugar Now add: 1 egg and whisk till fluffy, now add 1 Table spoon vanilla, mix well till fluffy, to this add 1 cup of sifted coco powder, mixed through, now add 2 cups of medium designated coconut and mix well, to this add 3 ½ cups in total of cake flour in total. *** NOTE Add 1 cup at a time between mixes 1 teaspoon of baking powder, mix through, now add 1 cup of flour and mix, to this add 1 cup of flour, work this through with your clean hands, now add the last ½ cup of cake flour. Once combined, divide the dough in 2 parts and cover with cling wrap, chill for 10 t 15 min till firm. Flour the work surface and sprinkle the dough lightly with flour Roll out dough +- ½ cm thick. Scrape the surface gently with a fork to give it a pattern. Flour your cookie cutter and punch out your shapes, place on the greased cookie sheet. Melt chocolate, spread the chocolate on one cookie and place the other cookie on top. Place on cooling rack till the chocolate is firm. NOTE: Don’t make your cookie dough to thick, you need to sandwich 2 together … and you must still be able to dip it in your coffee, tea or milk and still be able to bite it like a lady !!! 😄😄😄 Cool the cookies completely before assembling

Hi Gaja. I tried the Romany Creams from the cookbook last night. The amount of flour in the book is less than the one in your video. I added two extra cups to get it to the right consistency. Anyway, I'm glad you did this video so now I know how to do it next time. I love the biscuit though, it's not too sweet. Yum yum.😋 Thank you for the video😄
