I don’t like talking to politicians. But Ron Paul is different. He’s the founder of much of our movement.

Paul talked about free markets and limited government long before I had a clue how important they were.
When I interviewed Paul in 2007 for ABC News, ABC wouldn't put the interview on Broadcast TV; they only played it online.
Now everything we do is online- I like it better this way.
Here’s my a longer than usual interview with Dr. Ron Paul.

The Mises Caucus is largely the remnants of his movement and they are the only libertarians who take a stance on social issues involving morals. Ron has and still promotes more moral values then anyone in politics. He just does it in a loving and respectful way so he doesn’t get sound bites.

Real power comes from pure genius and creativity and none of you listen to that person because they sound different than anything you've ever heard before and you don't know how to judge them of course. If Ron DeSantis ever runs for president, check him out. He has been amazing here in South Florida. He protects our freedoms as much as he can as governor. I've never agreed with the libertarian stance on foreign policy issues, including military issues. But it is true that the fed has contributed to quite a bit of irresponsible spending in American history. Not by some complicated conspiracy to sell out the country, but by something as simple as funding with no question the unlimited ambitions of well meaning people with lofty goals and few obstacles. And this applies equally to inside the country as it does to the outside

I remember Ron Paul asking a question that changed my outlook on some things. I was pretty liberty-minded already, and I was always distrustful of "authorities." But his explanation of the insanity of the "war on drugs" was excellent, plus it gave me a simple was to ask others the questions that helped them to change their minds (it took a few years for some of them). Now I use similar questions when conversing about many issues. This helps to plant the seeds of liberty in people's minds. Once those seeds are planted, watching the government turn everything to crap only serves to fertilize those seeds over time.
