UEFA have been forced to ask players to stop removing sponsor bottles from press conferences after a bottle-snatching trend started this week.
Ronaldo started the fashion at a pre-game news conference by hiding two Coca-Cola bottles and replacing them with a bottle of water.
Paul Pogba, who is Muslim and does not drink alcohol, objected to the distinctive green bottle of official Euro 2020 beer sponsor Heineken.
Next, Manuel Locatelli removed the same pair of Coca-Cola bottles away from the view of cameras in his post-match press conference.
A drop in Coca-Cola's share price this week was attributed by some to Ronaldo's snub, but there was no evidence the two were linked.
Since then, players and coaches from Euro 2020 have joined the trend of the tournament.

So many I can recall. His 'Z' haircut from 2014 was something all of us kids tried back then, and the man-bun he donned just 2 years back was another hit. Many people, including friends of mine, started tying ponytails after that. Literally everyone knows his 'SIUUU' celebration at this point and I'm not even kidding. My classmates and I always scream Siuuu in class, and at this point, even the non-football fans and girls scream it whenever we have a class photo taken. It's fascinating how influential he is.

Yes, if I owned an IPO share of Coca Cola, I might have sold it too in panic because of the incident because the next the share price will be less. That's how Musk also dropped and raised share prices. That's also how Game Stock share folded. Influencing decisions matter. Nobody's claiming that Ronaldo bankrupted a multi billion dollar conglomerate. The coca cola shares dropped significantly after this incident. It's a bit crazy to think there is no causation but only correlation and coincidence, don't you think ? I'm not against that company btw but they might have decided to move the dividends among shareholders and make that story public because they didn't want to make themselves look affected by this incident.

Uh... Any athlete trying to maintain their form advocates this form of discipline. It's not about the coke but habit. Not everyone can control their urges. Also that is not the recommended technique. You stay away from these things and maintain your distance. That is the most effective way for most people. It's weird doing the most basic is considered goat for people like you.

According to any dictionary you choose, anyone competing for a prize or a goal, using physical efforts, talents etc is considered an athlete whether it's a bush league, community group, or pro league. I actually did stop drinking sugary sodas. I substituted it with homemade lemonade with carbonated water to satisfy the craving. Feel much better and more active
