They fed her part-timers, and when the real pros stepped in, she realized that Judo isn't actually "fighting". She folded like a civilian crime victim the first time she met somebody else with high-level martial arts experience. Literally got PTSD the first time she discovered that true violence is a two-way street.

It’s not the fact that she lost, that people lost respect. I think it’s the way she handled the loss, sometimes you just have to stay strong and keep it moving. Lead by a good example. With all due respect

I’m glad you asked, because depression is exactly what it sounded like to me too. I hope she is seeking help regularly and maintaining a healthier lifestyle; the calm she exhibits covering these topics felt like major depression.

Ronda Rousey was a great fighter in her day, yes she was. Very one dimensional though. Extremely limited with her stand up striking but judo was obviously world class.

Ronda is a pioneer. Same way Royce Gracie and Shamrock are pioneers. In their heyday they were considered the best. But the sport moves on and people talk about GSP and Anderson Silva now

You’re comparing Ronda to Gracie and Shamrock, the gentlemen who started mma ? Ronda was a one trick pony, great arm bar but nothing else. Her standup was that of a person taking kickboxing for one week. You sound like Rogan saying she could beat Floyd Mayweather 😂🤣😂🤣 She was a product of hype and when she lost, she blamed everyone but herself. Now she has released her autobiography blaming her losses on CTE. She will be remembered as the most overrated, unsportsmanlike fighter in history, refusing to shake Holly Holm’s hand before their fight and then getting knocked the F@#K out. 😂🤣😂🤣

Nunes was the greatest female MMA fighter. She will never get her due. They are trying to put Ronda back on the hype train and rewrite history. She beat a lot of terrible fighters when the sport was young. That is what happened. End of story.

No one ever ask Ronda why she didn't change her strategy during the fight and use her top skill to win. She had barley any takedown attempts. She stuck to striking against a top kick Boxer and got out boxed and kicked. Had She focused on Holly weakness like Miesha did she would have won like Miesha did who she beat twice so. She has yet to take accountability over her stubborn determination to stand and strike. The went on to fight Amanda the same way after Cat beat her on the ground ( who Ronda beat in seconds) so....Rondas worst enemy is herself.

Ronda beat up a bunch of soccer moms. We seen what happened when she fought good fighters. Once she realized the days of fighting soccer moms r over. She ran to WWE. However she did pave the way for women fighters which deserves a lot of credit. Nunes is the greatest woman fighter to ever step foot in the octagon

She is a pioneer and Champion but most importantly human and a Mother. Remember please to ask a cogent question and set aside time for your guest to provide a thoughtful and complete answer. It was great to listen to Rousey’s response! WOW ,, she has no humility at all ,, she cant see that Holms beat her , she still thinks she lost because she was spent , she cant accept her coach was dreadful , her desire to change her fight style because of him , its all about her, how she is the greatest and that she can only lose if something is wrong with her , that works in a fight camp , but when you are away from the sport you should have humility and honesty to realise where things went wrong and how someone beat you , not ignore the truth. That time in the UFC was exciting to see a woman flip another fight over her hip and then get an armbar finish , seeing her walk out with that spoiled girl upset face was great , but sadly you sort of realise her personality is horrible, she ruined that illusion of her being bad ass but humble. Her mumbling either suggests boredom or this is just another interview to sell her book , her body language looked tired of being there and its a chore. She only brightened up when speaking about wrestling , but even then she kind of ruins it for herself with her own behaviour.

She addresses the mumbling pretty early on in the interview you doofus. It’s true she was overhyped and pioneers are often unfairly treated as the best there ever were. She isn’t the best female fighter ever but she was still good for the time. But the amount of vitriol in your comment is alarming, maybe you shouldn’t base your opinion on people on UFC marketing material.

she still hasnt dealt with it. the most efficient fighting style ever? she had an arm bar. what is amazing that she ran through so many women with the same move. im not sure if shows how rigged the fights were or whether the other fighters were just plain hopeless. the moment she came up against a decent striker who had range control. she lost miserably and then nunes put the nails in the coffin. she was wonderful for womens MMA but there was not a lot of mixed martial arts in her game im afraid. the books sounds like a yawn of denials and delusions.
