This song came into my head this morning (Thur, May 17, 2018), ANY DAY NOW. After reading the lyrics of this song I have always loved, I can see how this song could also be seen as a rapture of the church, but from the point of one left behind. He could have gone with his 'wild bird' woman, with 'love' Jesus. Love didn't let him down, it was his own choice. The original intent of the song is beautiful and sad, but still an all time favorite! Love me some Milsap!
@mrp91752 жыл бұрын
The rapture is a lie. The ones taken are taken by Satan because they think Jesus comes 3 times. He said repeatedly he won't be back till the 7th Trump 7th vial and 7th bowl of judgement.. I bet you've never read the Bible. Most people that haven't believe rapture because the Churchvlikes to sell people on their ignorance and a responsibility free life as a "Christian" that only had to be saved and know nothing of God's word.
@mrp91752 жыл бұрын
I bet you watch Trinity Broadcasting and think you have to give money to Churches. There's a reason God was angry with 6 of the 7 churches and revelation. Those referred to today's churches just and that rarion is equal to more than 70% of them. Jesus comes twice not 3 times. But Satan comes just before him claiming to be Jesus and deceives a third of the world (ironically). That's the third that doesn't read their Bible and thinks their belief in what someone else told them is enough.

Oh my gosh, me tooooo! Woke up with it on my mind. I'm looking for Him at any time in my heart. I can't wait to fly to Him. I'm just sitting here letting those first words fall over me in that context. What a talented man, and what a beautiful thought. It was meant to be a sad song, but isn't that just like our Jesus. He always turns brokeness into beauty.

I was a kid when this was popular and this is the country music I remember and loved! I say Artists like Ronnie Milsap and Lee Greenwood paved the way for artists like Jo Dee Messina, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks and so on, simply because they were not traditional country, this had a pop music swing to it and it was enough to gain popularity on radio and pull those of us who loved pop music in....simply great music!

Pre-1973; his 1st country album (2nd overall, for some odd reason) was "Where My Heart is." To funkifizin: I'd recommend any CD w/ "Total Disaster," "Kentucky Woman" (no, that's not a country CD, but a batch of recordings from Scepter Records), "A Rose by Any Other Name," his self-titled debut reissue (rainbow-colored), "Just for a Thrill" (don't know your tastes; it's a jazz album), and any RM album "Inside" to "True Believer" (excep STHH, though I really like it). The icing? "Greatest Hits!"
