The scary thing is, he looks fit, strong, healthy and happy. Probably best condition I’ve seen him in ever, especially mentally. Put all that alongside his Snooker talent. Makes him pretty much unstoppable. 🐐🥇

Ronnie looks good. If you follow his socials seeing him taking much better care of himself, eating and drinking well, running, exercise...it's all gone a long way to putting his head in the right place and clearing the fog. Congrats on the win. (p.s. I enjoyed the home made curry recipe haha)

Sometimes it’s down to the humidity in the arena, or even lack of it. I’ve heard the pro’s and commentators discussing this before: If it’s too humid, the balls can slow because of tiny amounts of moisture, if it’s too arid, the balls might speed up as the cloth gets warmer. Seeing as this was staged in a nation with a huge desert, that might have been the reason. Maybe they just over compensated with the air conditioning.

It’d be like trying to explain to a new cricket fan why it’s often difficult for a team batting last on a fifth day wicket in a Test Match: there are things that you only know from watching the game - in any sport - over a period of time.
