Roots Growing Timelapse - Pepper Plant Roots Growing

11 жыл бұрынThis time lapse video of pepper plants roots growing took about 20 days to make. The plants were indoors under 270w of CFL grow lights, the water had some nutrients in, and the system is an aeroponics system made by Aero-Pot. Aeroponics is a form of hydroponics which uses mist to feed plants roots, this allowed me to film the doors between each misting so we can watch them grow. Pretty amazing!

Really great time lapse Vince! My mint cuttings have good roots at the moment, just gonna leave them for a few more days. Can't wait to make an update video and well done!

Alexander Altermann it’s easiest to root in plain water. Adding in nutes will likely stress the plants. Happy 5 years later

Yes you will but that is only diffused light through several layers of window.

You could but there is a risk of the plant dying if the conditions are too different.

No. Never transplant hydroponic plants into soil. Once they hit adulthood they’ve grown accustomed to water only. I’ve shocked tomato plants into an early grave by try to start them out hydroponically and then putting them into soil.

You can do it the other way. Soil to hydroponics, with phenomenal results.
