I can't believe I thought I came up with the melody and chords they play here at the start. I listened to it maybe a year ago and forgot about it, and I had this melody and chords randomly come up in my mind during an online class and immediately jumped to the piano to figure out what I just heard, thinking it's my creation. The mind is so weird. I actually remembered the chord progression and melody a year later. Unbelievable. A month later I open this video and my high hopes of having composed something cool immediately shatter lmao

Wow. Heard Shaun Martin perform with Snarky Puppy last night in Utrecht and was blown away. So tonight's a "discover more of this insanely brilliant musician" kind of evening, focused entirely on Shaun Martin. Just brilliant!

9 years later and this still is one of my all time favourites. God! I love this so much.

This is probably one of the very first encounters that I got attached to listening to Shaun Martin's music and more importantly the genres he used throughout his career which made me more interested to explore. Rest in Peace Shaun, we will never forget you and your music and what you've contributed as a musician.
