just clearing up, i focused on dean as “the blonde girl” and also didn’t include shane because 1. i decided to edit it chronologically, 2. it’s from jess’ perspective and 3. there’s much more footage of jess and dean to work with than of jess and logan ❤️ thanks for all the amazing comments and support, i’m just clarifying for everyone asking! x

I watched the show years ago and rewatched it a couple of times and I don’t know how to express my anger that Rory and Jess didn’t end up together... like.... they are LITERALLY made for each other... they had both some issues to work on but they were perfect for each other!!

He’s also the only boyfriend who she didn’t cheat on and the only boyfriend who left her instead of her leaving him. Granted, they were together the shortest time but I’m convinced that they would have stayed together if Jess never left, even through Yale.

With A Year in the Life hinting at Jess's lingering feelings for Rory, she's poised to follow in her mother's footsteps. Logan and Jess are meant to be parallel Christopher and Luke. Similar to Christopher's relationship with Lorelai, Logan and Rory share a strong connection, but he's self-absorbed and nothing good tends to come from their relationship. On the other hand, Rory and Jess challenge each other. They complement the other well and also care deeply for one another, which is reminiscent of Luke and Lorelai's relationship. With that, A Year in the Life hints that Logan may be the father of her baby, but Jess will ultimately be Rory's fate.

@@gianna5898 It’s “Gilmore Girls.” I really recommend. It of course has some scenes that aren’t appropriate for some teens, but depending on what you’re allowed to watch it’s amazing . “A year in the Life” is something Netflix added to the show about 10 years later. It picks up later in the characters future to show you how they turned out.

Jess will always be there for rory, whether she loves him or not, he'll always be there. I'm convinced that since rory and logan are done and she seems to be planning on raising her kid without him, Jess will be there to take care of her, man, they were meant to be, but it was always the wrong time one way or another. Thanks to this edit I finally understood that Jess is the perfect guy for Rory from many points of view, they have the same intelligence and the same determination in doing things and in my opinion Jess having not had the same chances as Rory, for this he had these very rebellious attitudes, but we all know that the potential is in fact in the seventh season he also publishes a book if I'm not mistaken. I was and still am team logan but I think Jess is Rory's true soulmate❤️
