Yes, the guitarist is Løren, the guy in Lovesick Girls. He is an artist under The Black Label, a company under YG. He usually plays guitar on Rosé’s covers. She did a sort of “mini-concert” in her IG story several years ago, and Løren played the guitar. I even think this studio is at The Black Label (not at YG per se). Her Sea of Hope covers are indeed exceptional. What i really love about this impromptu-type of live cover is when she did it with less-production. She always known for collecting bunch of Vinyls (wether it's from the classic era nor the current ones), and most the time when she genuinely love a song she'd easily remembering the whole lyrics while fully sing the song with her own style. So when she keep frequently sees the lyrics on her phone that just means either she rarely sing the song itself or she just barely take any rehearal to that song before she drop this video... I mean if she want it we can tell that she could turn this cover into the most polished one, but since it's for her birthday she choose these particular concept which i could say quite brave nor different rather what she's been done over the years... At first i thought she don't have to do it in that way, but now objectively i got into such a realization that maybe she just want to challenge herself and to show off that she could really share such intimate experience about how she be sound in her casual state, and i'd say that's a risky attempt especially if it's done by a well-known global singer just like her... but as what we can see from this video, she really not afraid to showcase her raw singing voice, it's like she really tried to humanize her actual singing skill and she just sat there without that much background's music around her so we can fully enjoying her authentic raw voice to the fullest, which also part of many reasons about why until this day i always have such a high admiration toward her approach in the art of music...

ROSÉ🌷is my bias and not because she is just pretty or talented, it is because she is really an artist and every day she shows us that for her music is her life, she plays piano and guitar, writes and composes her own songs, her voice is unique etc, ROSÉ is not the typical kpop idol who follows a routine to stand out in her group, ROSÉ goes beyond that, she is a woman who day by day finds herself more as an artist, performer and singer, for something she is the main vocalist of the biggest girl group in history and for a reason she is considered the golden voice of korea, a title that for those who know kpop are big words, since being considered the golden voice of a country like korea where there are so many wonderful voices says a lot about ROSÉ's talent.

Sea of Hope! Sea of Hope! Sea of Hope! It's not a concert, it's a tv show produced by the same people who did Begin Again. It's live performances, but there's a story behind it. That show is 1000% charming and wholesome. Watching Sea of Hope cures Covid, I think. You should watch all of it, and then Begin Again.

When Rose' sings like this, she reminds me of singers from the 1960's. With her talent and personality, she would have been a big hit back then. Jisoo would have been as well. One of BP's pluses is their voices are not era or genre specific - they can sing anything and it fits. Take care of yourself.

He also covered some Blackpink songs (the How You Like That cover is great). Gaho is an artist you should check out anyway, he's amazing but very underrated. Her cover of “Don’t Look Back in Anger” by Oasis was my favorite of the 3 she uploaded. Beautiful. I just adore her. And I couldn’t stand Oasis so you know she’s something special if she can make me like their song. I love the raw vocals on these covers though. So good!
