Christians are called not just to a single instance of repentance. Rather, they’re called to repent throughout their lives, trusting Christ for life every day. Dr. Rosaria Butterfield has a unique perspective on repenting and trusting Christ. In this session, Dr. Butterfield describes her conversion, and explains her experience in following Christ in order to encourage and challenge listeners to live as a light in this dark world.

***** LOL! "Now that she swallowed the kool aid" ...that was adorable. I meant that now she is aware of God and his plan for her life. She has agreed to put God 1st in her life in all that she does. This means that people of the same faith (like me) can welcome her into the family of God. Just means we are all family now :)

Debra J.M. Smith. If we are genuinely saved, that is correct. Matthew 7 makes this abundantly clear. Many will say, Lord, Lord, but will be told to depart as workers of iniquity.

Thank you. For your story. For your witness. I admit & am humbly apologizing that when my cat, as he often does, touched my screen & landed here, I abruptly decided I didn’t need & certainly didn’t want to hear anything from a “lesbian@“. I’m currently in a situation where my eldest child/daughter, graduate of a Christian high school & drop out of a Christian college decided to be “gay”a few yrs ago, and shortly after that she started “therapy”, then decided to identify as “transgender” & in the last year-ish, she shaved her head & wants to be “non binary”. But in this phase of “non binary”, being called by her “friends” a male name (huh?), intentionally speaking w/ the awkward & clearly physically uncomfortable task of lowering her natural voice ~2 octaves. It’s clearly about not being who she actually is, not “identifying” as someone else. Big difference. Ultimately, I’m salty @ the moment. But I thank God for the opportunity to hear such a testimony. Again, I’m sorry for my way too quick dismissal & have learned much from hearing this. God bless you, Ms. Butterfield for your very public & honest testimony. Maybe someday I’ll get to meet you & thank you in person (for putting me in my place😉) & for sharing. ❤️

I'm interested in her books. I'll likely buy one when I have time to read it. I need to start a shelf of books that include well written testimonies.10-20 well written books with testimonies would be nice to have to share with any friends who are interested.

There isn't hate for homosexuals but love. Hate would mean not letting them understand the consequences of their actions. Love means keeping them close to let them know that repenting and following the law of God is the way to heaven.

I would think that since she’s not preaching, or holding authority as an elder, it’s fine. This isn’t so much a sermon as it is her testimony.

I agree with most of this, except the part about not wanting her man to have authority over her body is being selfish and sinning. It's not a sin to not want to be controlled or dominated. Marriage is about the man protecting the woman, not him dominating or forcing things on her body.

a little bit of history on this women Rosaria, known as sari by family, was not named after the rosary, but was named after her mother's grandmother. Her speeches may motivate alot of people , but she needs to stay honest when telling her life. who wants to sit and listen to wonderful lectures if it's going to bring dishonesty.

Hello Camille, But couldn't family members share a name that happens to be popularized outside of the family? If my grandfather and I both have the name Lenny (because both of our mothers love Lenny Kravitz), I could say I was named after my grandfather. And in a separate instance, if I say I was named after Lenny Kravitz, would I be lying? These things aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. - Best,

+camillle boswell Guess what?!?!? Rosaria's great-grandmother WAS named after the rosary, therefore, Rosaria IS ALSO named after the rosary. So Rosaria was telling the truth. You're unnecessarily hateful. I hope you find the love of Jesus Christ before it's too late.
