What's good Profound Travelerz! Just wanted to tie up some loose end from our Baja California Trip from February & March of 2022. Rosarito is known to be an ex-pat and American tourists haven. Although, there are more dynamics in play that is affecting the current transition of this small Mexican city. Aside from that, we break pricing of staying Rosarito for a vacation, food and provide some other scenes. Enjoy, Profound Travelz!

Always fun in Rosarito! Great observation about locals and tourists not really mixing together. I have to agree from my numerous road trips from CSULB back in the day.

You really need to live here in Rosarito ..to really appreciate our culture .our food .our federal holidays. summer ..there alot more life then just the main strip ..

Is it safe driving in Mexico with tinted windows? I hear it’s illegal and cops will pull you over. I’ve driven to mexico before but without tinted windows. But I recently got my windows tinted and now I’m worried.

I don't recommend it. I drove my car dilver mazda that had tinted windows on it, while trying to cross back over in San Diego from Tijuana. And the cops pulled me over with his hand on his gun and demanded $300 from us.

@@Profound_Travelz oh wow, that really sucks. Sorry you had to go through that. Thank you for keeping it real and being honest about your experience. I will definitely avoid driving in Mexico with my tinted windows then.

@wesdaaawg be safe and careful bro. Rent a car if you need to, from Mexico. Therefore if they pull you over and threaten to tow the car, it won't be your car they're towing. He tried to hold my driver's license as leverage, but I would have gotten a new one and left, if I wasn't in my own car.
