@@MelMashbat well in Tijuana you absolutely need to try all the different varieties of tacos, there are some great places that will absolutely gonna leave you speechless, and in Ensenada you must try the original fish tacos and all the different types of seafood there is, Tecate you have the most amazing bakery's and the delicious wine, there's still a lot of places and dishes to explore, hope you try them all anda have a great and excellent culinary experience ... 🤗

I love Rosarito. I am taking a friend to the dentist there and I will be having tacos. Maybe I will make a video too. This is an awesome video! Yes, cheap real estate. You can also rent a fully furnished place in a gated community for $850 per month on the beach

Wow! Tacos, carnitas, sea food, menudo, you eate all what I really like to eat in my Rosarito hometown, you missed the world famous Langosta estilo Puerto Nuevo, yes! The unique cooked stile lobster. I’m glad you came to visit my Rosarito and I encourage you to visit more places and cities next time soon.

They were mad the New Government from AMLO! It's hurting them. Props to The Mexican Military 🎖️🪖 And National Guard👍💪👌🙂. And plus All the instigators were caught like 185 in Baja California, Guanajuato,Jalisco and in Michoacan .

I'm in awe that your views and subs are not in the hundreds of thousands if not millions!!! Your content is amazing! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 I love the cinematography and documentary feel of your videos. I learn something new on each of your videos. Keep up the amazing work, you will go far! I will be subbing for sure!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Recommendations: Go up and down the coast. You already did Rosarito but do TJ, Puerto Nuevo (lobster town), and Ensenada (original fish tacos). My family and I did it last summer and it was a great experience. Enjoyed your video You can Buy beach front condos for around $225,000 US ,so when you said $500,000 Thousand US I thought that was kinda high .Most condos start off in the low $200.000 Thousand and go up to as high as you want.Magnolian Octopus was just probably the name of the dish.Yes every Country has it's good and bad .Just look at all these high crime cities in the USA such as Detroit ,Chicago,Kansas City,Oakland,Houston,Baltimore,St. Louis,Memphis,Little Rock,Cleveland,Milwaukee,Rockford,Nashville,Albuquerque,.Stockton,Anchorage,Springfield, just to name a few.I think you should go explore Mexico .Mexico has over 1 Million Americans living there not to mention thousands of Canadians and Europeans .If Mexico was that bad you would not see that many foreigners living there .But just like everywhere there are places you should avoid and be cautious everywhere you go and use common sense .

Oh yeah, real estate prices in Rosarito made me seriously question living in L.A! Do u live in Rosarito by any chance?... Probably, u r right, it might've been a spelling error with the octopus. And yeah, Rosarito was an amazing chance to get a glimpse of Mexico and certainly just a beginning! ;-)

@@MelMashbat try just the skin “Cueritos.” Also try Beef Birria, and their menudo is delicious with listen to this “Hand maid Black Corn Tortillas” they have a dark blue color! Only in Michoacán i have seen this not anywhere else. Must try Tacos A Vapor!

@@MelMashbat if you see carnitas cooked the old traditional way which is not practiced as much now like in the 80’s “Cooked with fire wood not Gas!” The taste is 10 times better mmmmmmm! Brings back child hood memories which are not coming back of when I lived in Michoacán of older mex men wearing sombreros and taking out the hot cueritos laying them on a table, cutting them in small square pieces with sea salt and Mexican small key limes “Not the Yellow lemons” and just sprinkling key lime on top with beer OMG! Then they give u a piece of liver or Buche oh I’m in heaven! Lol I love food!

What kind of documents besides passport, car insurance do we need to drive there? Is it better to rent a car or drive our own? Thx

That's pretty much it. But when crossing the border back into the U.S, if you want to avoid the long lines, there is a special lane, called SENTRI lane that you can take for expedited processing. In order to get a SENTRI lane pass, you have to apply months in advance, get a background check, and an interview.

Is driving your car there easy or do you need a permit

Great question! It's fairly easy, the border agents quickly check ur passports, check ur car doors for drugs by slightly pounding on them and u r good. Getting a car insurance is recommended, just in case, but we didn't. But driving back home, we took a wrong lane to pass the border, the SENTRI lane, for which you need a pass beforehand. I'd definitely recommend getting that pass to cross the border faster! We almost got a ticket and could've gotten a fine of $5000 per person!!!

in Baja it is legal to use your US plates BUT I dont recommend it, because cops do stop you, not because of your plates but because they will ask you for your FFM (Tourist permit) or your passport to check that you are in the country legally, it is a nuisance but you can go by using Uber and Cabs. If you do decide to go with your car, get international insurance, you can pay for the amount of days you are going to be and without any need to sign something like a year contract or a 6 month contract, you just pay for the amount of days you plan on using the insurance.
