Boy things have changed from the way we were raised. We stuck to our plans no matter rain, soaked and sleeping in a car overnight. My parents would never turn around and go home in the middle of the night. Well, once. My mom forgot my brothers heart medicine. My poor dad had to drive 4 hours each way and I went with him and helped him stay awake on long drive. I don't know why but I have never been able to sleep in a moving vehicle. Gotta toughen up kids now a day and teach them how to function without electronics. The art to loving the wild and wildlife.

Bow season in NY, I harvested a nice 175lb 7 point at 7 am. on this fine, November 5th morning . The rut is in full swing. A couple grunts a few bleats, a pinch of tinks, and a good snort wheeze and I pulled this toad of a buck off two hot 🔥 doe the toad came in like he was on a wire .
