great advice at the end of the video ---i find myself depending on family or friends a lot only to be left hurt or misused because i overextend myself so this really helped. i realized that i needed to back up and worry more about me and I've just been getting tons of confirmation (including your video). stay beautiful!

You're so right about the 'would he/she do the same thing for me' - thing. In my first year of lawschool I had to make new friends because I didn't know anyone there, but now that I'm going to my second year I still don't have the feeling that I made true friends there. Sometimes I just get this feeling of being used and talking behind my back and stuff while I'm just not the type of person who wants to waste my time with that. So I think you're very right about not losing yourself in others. Staying 'independent' is so important in life because you never know what will happen. And things like these make your videos my favourite type to watch. Keep it up girl!

That was/is my main lesson this year really because the past few years have really made me realise that it all comes down to prioritising yourself. I'm going through something similar... i feel like I'm loyal to my family and friends and that i have given up some things in order to help my family and sometimes friends,but when it comes to me i don't receive the same in comparison to how much i " give" in return :( is so hard to be selfish,but i have recently started to think that in order to be happy and accomplish my goals i have to be selfish with my time and what i give away is that bad?

Ik zou nu moeten studeren maar deze vlog had eventjes voorrang haha! Mooie boodschap op het einde meid, ik heb helemaal hetzelfde gevoel en soms heb ik ook het gevoel dat ik veel doe voor anderen maar soms niet veel terugkrijg, wat echt rot is... Je moet jezelf eigenlijk altijd op de eerste plaats zetten en indien mensen je niet lijken te waarderen zijn ze het ook niet waard om je als vriendin te hebben :) xx

Je order nummer staat in de mail die je hebt gekregen (4 getallen). Als je die niet kan vinden kan je ook de naam van degene die besteld heeft (dus niet betalingsrekening) in de omschrijving zetten. xo
