Desi please read this!! At the beginning of this year I felt really insecure about my face and the way I looked (like many other young, impressionable women) and I was going through a deep depression - a combination of family problems, mental health issues etc...I started watching your videos in 2015 for entertainment, this year however I decided to actually try doing my makeup better! You've taught me so many makeup techniques, how to hold a brush, blend eyeshadow lightly through the crease, to putting on eyelashes, how to over draw your lips and how to apply a cut crease! I started sitting down watching your tutorials and literally pausing and rewinding and doing the same looks hahaha! I bought products you recommended buying and bought your Dose of Colours collab and Quay sunglasses! You're by far my favourite makeup artist and this year YOU KILLED IT! I'm so excited for the crazy, inventive, inspiring looks and travels you do next year, thank you for helping me and others to create and learn

The key to good pie crust is not overworking it and don't let it get too warm. After making the crust, let it sit in the fridge for awhile to set then roll it out. Don't know if you did that or not, but if you didn't, there's a tip for the future that'll help make it easier:)

You do the best tutorials ever. Great Teacher. I’m a makeup lover but I would totally go to a master class type thing if you did it &I would never go to something like that. Culinary is like makeup. You can follow a recipe /tutorial same products and directions, but it’s the hands!
