I got a feeling that money would've been given as a dowry if he picked staying with Louise

Yeah, I also feel Louise is blaming Lynette (who actually uncovered he wasn’t really in love, he choose money over her) instead of the man who failed the “test” from Lynette.

Such a good movie, liked this better than haunting in venice

One thing I never understood is why Lynette would be so possessive towards Louise. I would think from Lynette’s perspective, servants come and go, and there is always one needing a job. Why would it be her responsibility to offer a dowry for her servant?

They took a lot of liberties with this adaptation. Nothing like this marriage for Louise happens in the book.

Spoilers: But Also, knowing the true meaning of the “I might have seen her killer,” line, it’s just obvious that she’s hinting 😂

Well, for those who want a better version than this one , they can watch Sir Peter Ustinov's 1978 version or Sir David Suchet's episode in Poirot. They're much more better than this one
