These roses in the ground didn't get the same level of TLC as the potted roses due to time constrain, hence they look a little rough.

Always enjoy seeing your beautiful roses. I live in Keystone Heights, Fl zone 9a. You have been an inspiration to go beyond knockout roses. With the heat and humidity, my DA roses have been a challenge. But encouraging to see which roses do well here in N Florida. Your Peggy Martin is absolutely gorgeous! I am trying different rootstocks with my favorite being Multiflora. I recently purchased my first Fortunianna (Peace rose). Your hard work has been a blessing to others. Looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful videos.

If you don't mind sharing your absolute favorite top 5 roses, I would really appreciate it. Being in our hot, humid climate, can be hard. Me being a novice, I'm all about learning. Thank you.😊

My absolute must have DA in our area is Alexandra of Kent, Boscobel, Eustacia, Elizabeth, and Desdemona, but those wedding roses are doing pretty well so far with bloom lasting up to 7 days in our climate, but i need more time with them to see how they perform thorughout the year

@rosesintallahasseefl Thank you so much. I love your containers also. I have had to plant all of mine in containers because of the deer. This became VERY expensive. The planters are more than the roses. 😅

I also live in Tally. I’m blown away with how little black spot you have. Most of my roses are old garden roses. I need to try David Austin just breathtaking.

i control black spots with spray but even then i will get black spot eventually, especially around the summer

@@heathers1677 my guy who sprays for me gave me this, he rotates products: Insecticid: Abamectin 0.15ec add surfactant 1 teaspoon 2 gallons or 8 0z for 100 gallons or 1/2 for 2 gallons for preventive. Orthene Insecticide (1.5 tsp per gallon) Organic insecticide and fungicide: 1 pound garlic, 1 pound hot pepper, 1 pound ginger 1/5 gallon of alcohol 70% all blend together and stain before use. 3 Tablespoons per gallon water

Looking good! Question, have you ever let a rose sit too long in water b4 planting? I let mine for 2 weeks and it has white leaves/stems? Problem or na? I just planted it anyway but its already droopy.

max have been for me is 2 days, 2 weeks is way too much, i don't know if it's salvageable or not but you should try, cut off rotted roots and prune the stems
