His soul was trapped but his body was still moving towards Jiraiya that's how he won

The thing is he mastered rasengan but Minato made it and it took JIRIHA bout a while 4 or maybe more years to master it while Naruto mastered it in like 10 days

I always thought ginjutsu was in your head so if you got hurt in the jutsu you got hurt for real so instead of him getting hurt his fist and speed still carried so it hit jariya and killed him

just a simple thing.. roshi's kamehameha is faster than jiraiya.. that thing alone can end the fight.. but they did jiraiya a service by countering it with big rasengan.. which is impossible if you ask me.. coz in DBS.. roshi one hit kamehameha a fighter in tournament of power.. one hit..

So your asking how Jiraya lost at the last moment 1. Roshi had way more speed than Jiraya when he enterd Buff mode 2. When Jiraya did that move Roshi in the real world was still going you need to know when you CHARGE on GROUND it will stop you from moving, but when in AIR it doesn't your body still goes.

The problem is why did jiraya tap himself in his own ginjutsu the whole purpose of it was to trap your in an illusion and deal with the body plus what do they think ginjutsu is do they think jiraya's ginjutsu is the same as itachi tsukuyomi WTF!

The last part was them just showing he resists illusion. The animated battle as stated by the creators is just the entertainment side. If you want exactly what would happen Roshi would have won in multiple stops. The Kamehameha would not have been stopped and with Roshis power and beam speed Jiraiya would have been dead multiple times.

A big thing that people misunderstand about the show. The fight at the end is just for fun to watch. It has nothing to do with the analysis. IE their actual assertion is that he wouldn't have been caught in the jutsu in the first place. They just had the fight go that way because it was funny and they thought people would like it. Which is also when they have mismatches (Like Boba fett vs Samus) They don't just have Samus kill him in 0.2 seconds even though with the speed difference that is what would happen.

Roshi was hit whilst moving forward. Jiraiya should've moved. Unfortunately, Genjutsu doesn't stop a person's physical form. It messes with the mind... Sooo... He got Roshi in the Genjutsu, but that didn't stop Roshi's momentum. Which is why he blew Jiraiya out of the water. That, and the animations are mostly for entertainment. Well-animated, but still...

The Manga and Anime for Super have their own canon, so Roshi knocking on the door to UI is canon but only to the Manga. Lots of crazy stuff happens in the Manga..lol, Goku is even more broken in it.

I dunno man naurto is just recently at the end even close to DBZ level of power, like who cares about someone who can control bugs dragon ball King piccolo that was probably as strong a ninja leader, who are suppose to be some of the strongest ninja out there, Piccolo said Raditz could move faster than the speed of light and he was weaker than a Saiaba man, and much as very few characters could ever hope to be a planet buster in any scale Freiza did it easily and he wasnt even a bench mark after a while. Yamcha could have beaten nearly any legendary ninja unless that some craft Genjustsu.

Ironically, the manga is a bit more canon than the anime due to Dragon Ball starting off as an manga. Quite odd but according to the fanbase, Toriyama doesn't work on Anime Super as much as he does with Manga Super which is used heavily for the anime months before the manga is actually publish so Faux UI Roshi has more credibility than Kaioken Blue Goku oddly enough.

I dont like their reasoning in this episode. In Goku vs Superman they said that DBZ heavily abused Cinematic Time, and used the example of Piccolo blowing up the moon. Then they turn around and use that as an example for Roshi's kameha wave.

It was clearly biased towards roshi (i mean i love roshi and jiraya) but jiraya would've won that easily Ok roshi has power (way more than jiraya may i add) But That last genjutsu was not only a normal genjutsu, it would've made him lose the strenght immediately and make roshi fall into the water and not go on with the punch, sooo yeah that last roshi punch was total BS, if u watch the fight that jiraya had against all the "pain's" you will know what im talking about, so yeah to me, jiraya won that fight, roshi would not have a chance, cause of the toad genjutsu, + sage mode has more tricks up his sleaves and they didn't even use those against roshi, but as i said those dudes are dragon ball biased (nothing against it, cause i love dragon ball a lot too) but yeah, when its bs its bs, but it is what it is, it was still a good video
