Ross's CCM Rotax Thunderbike

6 жыл бұрынWhile waiting for his dream framer project to come together our editor Ross thought he'd quickly 'knock up' a CCM Rotax Thunderbike.
Inspired by Survivor Customs' professional R30 conversions he stripped a decent donor and set about building a flat tracker to compete in the UK DTRA Championship.
But as with everything in life, there's a reason why pros are pros and hobbyists aren't. Survivor Customs on Instagram to save yourself the late nights and lost weekends.

“Not snappy enough” 🤣 OMG What a way to expose yourself as a fool who can’t set up a carburettor 😨 Do it right and it’s snappier and faster than the twin.

I have a VM44 carb on my aprilia tuareg wind 600. It's the same engine but 560cc. It is rather snappy... Probably to snappy for the road at least. As soon as you give it throttle, your ass slides back on the seat and the only thing stopping me is the givi box on the back lol.
