I represent to Your attention my dear viewers, the film is a series of "weekend Trip", telling about one of the symbols of Russia - the city of Rostov. In one day we'll take a walk around the Museum-reserve "Rostov Kremlin", the Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastery it is located and take a boat trip on lake Nero.

Rostov is a district center of Yaroslavl region.
Located 53 km to the South-West of Yaroslavl, on the Bank of lake Nero. A population of 31 thousand people.
One of the oldest cities of Russia, the official chronology leads from 862. With the X century Rostov was one of the centres of Rostov-Suzdal land. In XI - beginning of XIII centuries was part of the Vladimir-Suzdal Principality. The monastery is the center of honoring two saints - St. Jacob of Rostov and St. Demetrius of Rostov.
Nero (the Rostov lake) is a freshwater lake in the South-West of the Yaroslavl region of Russia.
The area is about 54.4 per km2. Length 13 km, width 8 km and depth 3.6 m. the Lake is shallow. Low banks. The bottom is covered with a thick layer of sapropel.
The lake is estimated at approximately 500 thousand years. It is one of the few lakes in the pre-ice age period in Central Russia. The etymology of the name Nero dates back to ancient lake and river term ner-, from the same root is called the river Nerl.
