That jacket dated 1969 according to the DSA code on the label. It's great to see a good condition Vietnam era jacket, they are very rare these days

Thanks for sharing that bit of knowledge. I have to look up how to read those codes. I stumbled across it at a goodwill. Used to see these things at thrift shops all the time. But your right, they are rare now. It’s quite the find if you find one.

I never liked Rothco stuff I find the materials they use do not feel very good on the skin. Nice review

Yeah, I just realized that they did have some rip stop in production in the later years of the war. After some additional research. Thanks for adding to the conversation

Rothco is just one of more bad copies. The same is with their M65Field Jackets, N3B Parka etc.
