I can still hear some of the sounds from the ukelele- it's very minimal though. Does it work better for sounds that are coming from very far distances like neighbors' dogs, construction works on the road? Those are my major concerns right now. hope you could give me feedback before I buy this adapter. Thank you in advance

@@AndruwiththeU Thanks for the comment Marc and welcome to the channel! Yeah it cleared these out, it seems like it has problems more with loud noise then far away distant low volume noise.

@@AndruwiththeU It works better for a more static noise rather than more "sudden" noise. So stuff like fans, hairdryers, lawn mowers, etc will be canceled very good.

Good series of tests. The mechanical keyboard was completely cancelled out. The Uke was a bit but could still be heard. The wind noise from the fan was significantly reduced, however at the expense of your voice as it was broken up considerably by AI NC, and some of the frequencies that were the same as the wind were cancelled. What was left made it sound like a Dalek, closest comparison sound wise.

In my case, I am using asus tuf gaming h3 headphones with asus ai noise cancelling mic adapter, and it works pretty well, totally cancels background noises. Perhaps compatibilities should be considered.

So does it have headphones out? I see your headphones had only one plug, and you didn't seem to be using a TRRS splitter to separate the headphone line

My headaet is noise cancelling but it doesnt cancel background noise. But when i use this asus noise cancelling adaptop to that headphone, it cancels everything even my voice. What to do? Help huhu

It says that it is compatible with Mac but I can't make it work on my macbook pro. It worked on my Windows 10 PC since I was able to install the software. Do I need a software for Mac?

The fan test is interesting. There are two problems: 1) the fan motor makes a humming noise 2) the fan makes an indoor 'wind', so if that hits the microphone, the turbulence causes very loud deep booming noises in the signal, which are not actual sound you can hear directly when recording. I would not have expected it to work so well with 2). News outdoor broadcasters use a foam sleeve over the mic, a fluffy 'dead cat' windscreen, or even both. On a headset indoors, something similar might be available as a 'pop' filter, to reduce breath or 'plosives'. Another test, where ASUS AI does even better: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bdaJdrFz0Nu6m4E.html

HONEST REVIEW: Yes, it does a good job of eliminating noises. But, there's a significant difference in your vocal quality though. You sound like a TIN CAN whenever you turn that thing ON. That device eliminates your mid and low frequencies leaving only your mid-high and high frequencies. The mic clipped on your shirt is waaaaay better in terms of sound and voice quality.

I've just been testing this out and you don't need to buy those big expensive mics anymore if you use Asus noise cancelling technology at least I know in their F-17 laptop they have it inbuilt... But I'm getting audio quality good enough for filmmaking they did TO noise canceling technology what Google did the voice recognition
