Exactly . They are beautiful sweet very loyal loving dogs who die of cancer ( mine of lymphoma at at 9) because they’ve been over and inbred . My Nina was perfect and we loved each other very deeply .I’m very tempted to get another Rottie ( my rest are mutts) but I know how the bittersweet story ends , usually with cancer.

@@captainnitrousx1331 I would never buy from a breeder as long as dogs die in shelters. I got my Nina from the city pound. She was about 1 1/2 when I rescued her. There is no more loyal dog than a rottie. When you rescue one like I did, they go one step further and worship you. Rotties are very intelligent : they know when they have been rescued and who did it. I had my Nina-Bear for seven good years. She’s been gone nine years now but I still feel her love in every part of me. Damn lymphoma.

I was lucky enough to have a friend give me his Rottweiler, because he already had two big dogs. Mine grew to 140 lbs of muscle! And at around 3 years old, he helped me raise my daughter 😬. At the age of 13, my faithful friend had heart failure and had weeks to live. He made it a year, however, mostly due to my selfishness, not being able to let him go. At around 14, 2014, I had to do it! It was one of the hardest, if not thee hardest thing in my life. RIP! BUDDY~BEAR 😞

Never heard of that? My family had a rottweiler/boxer mix up until a few years ago though, and he looked like a rottweiler but with a white tuft between the two brown ones on the chest. He was also not quite as muscly or large

from AKC.org "Official Standard of the Rottweiler General Appearance: The ideal Rottweiler is a medium large,robust and powerful dog, black with clearly defined rust markings." no mention of white markings. if your furry baby does not "fit" the AKC standard, check the pedigree

@@simnaibos6454 Breeders generally discard pups with white on their chests, selling them for almost nothing or giving them away and sometimes spaying or neutering them and keeping them. Rottweiler breeders are ashamed of this fact. And yes this tends to happen more generally with American Rottweilers but I've seen it happen with Rottweilers directly from Germany with AKC papers to back it up. Also Rottweilers can be black/rust, black/mahogany and black/tan. Not just black and rust. Black and rust is where the brown is barely visible which isn't common with Rottweilers. Most Germans are black and mahogany and a lot of American/Canadian are black and tan. I had a male that was black and rust and was shipped directly from Germany. I named him Gator because of his massive alligator like head. They're not common. I don't care what your stupid copy and paste website says. Breed Rottweilers for a living for awhile. Sell your males for $1500 a pup and $750 for females. Then you'll know the difference. I've bred thorough bred Germans for people all around the world. US, Brazil, Mexico, Canada etc.

@@TheAratine I honestly hate mixing breeds. It's taboo and just wrong in my school of thought. However I saw a brindle(tiger stripe) Boxer the other day with blue eyes that was the most unique dog I've ever encountered. I would have given $500 easily for that dog and tried to find another female brindle boxer to breed him with. The problem lies with AKC papers to these dogs. Although they can be great serious dog breeders despise mixed breeds. Then again my neighbor's dog is a chocolate lab/pitbull mix. I love the dog. I've tried to get my neighbor to sell him to me etc. They love him too. He's smarter than most meathead male rottweilers. I thought him to speak, shake hands, sit, roll over etc. Not my dog though. Love to breed these although they're not technically "AKC" approved. Sometimes all it takes is a good dog. Color, size etc means nothing to someone who simply wants a good dog for companionship and protection. I hope your mixed dog works out for you. Don't let breeders crap on your parade.

Too short unfortunately........mine had to be put down at 12 because of bone cancer. Such a devastating pain, I can't think of having another one. They adore you in a way that is difficult to compare.
