Jada Toys was kind enough to send out some early samples of their upcoming Street Fighter II Ultra The Final Challengers Ryu and Fei Long, and it looks like they have another winner on their hands! They are quickly becoming one of my favorite action figure companies!

The posability was the instant sell for me. That’s literally everything I want in a figure, feels good to move and pose and unhindered articulation. Absolutely NEED these

I don't know what kind of SORCERY Jada Toys pulled off, but these are contender for best figures of the year considering the always important aspect of quality/asking price. I simply cannot believe how they can charge only 25 dollars for these: the engineering is SHF worthy, the facesculpts are CLEAN and the packaging looks collectable. It truly puts other companies to shame in how much they're charging for most releases (both import figures & american companies such as Hasbro). I have some of the SFV SHFiguarts line and I do like them but if I had to choose, I'd rather have this line continue. I'm cautiously optimistic Jada will keep this level of quality for future releases, since I believe female figures are much harder to pull off. Sure, shortcuts were made and they ain't perfect but man this makes me want that megaman line much more. Hopefully collectors realize other companies are asking too much while offering very little (looking at you, Marvel Legends)...maybe if Hasbro's bottom line starts falling off a cliff they will step up their game.

Yeah the price and quality is putting all the other companies to shame for sure! No to mention wave two with M.Bison and Dhalsim are both coming with crazy accessories that other companies would use to call them deluxe and charge more for. Bison is getting the same amount of accessories as the other but is also getting a cloth cape with wire in it, still $25. Dhalsim is getting alternate extended arms and legs with wire in them so you can move them however you like and still $25. It’s blowing my mind. I’m not a huge Street Fighter fan but with how good these figures look I can’t not collect them. I hope Jada get other license as well if this is the quality they’ll bring. Tekken or Mortal Kombat would be cool!

Oh, I've got the Jada Toys SF Chun-li, and you can put your fears to rest. 😁 Its almost the same quality as the preceding figures, its fully articulated without compromising the sculpt too much, the face sculpts are great (I may actually prefer the alt screaming face over the default), and they didn't cheap out on the accessories (1 pair extra hands plus an extra face, with the additional kick energy effect plus its mounting stand). The only joint that's missing from her that's included with the preceding figures is the butterfly joint, but by the way her torso's designed, she doesn't need that joint. It's so good that I may actually buy another one (hopefully they release Vega) just so she'll have a sparring partner lol.

Kinda surprised they didn't come out the gate with Ryu and Ken, as they should probably use the same body, but it's nice to see that Jada went with a slightly slimmer physique for Fei Long, and he looks more accurate. They could've easily reused that Ryu body, but went the extra mile to make him come correct.

It makes more sense to save the reuse for a second wave. Because their Ryu Mold was in use for Ryu this wave. So there was a cap to how many they could produce at one time. If they used the same body as both figures it wouldve taken twice the production time I assume. Plus Ken leading a second wave is the best way to keep people interested. Everyone at least needs Ryu and Ken if theyre collecting the line. So getting them right out the gate could lead people to stop paying attention

That fei Long doubles quite well as a bruce lee figure, especially with all the posing. I am really hoping for Jada to get the Mortal Kombat license to do some figs.

This review legit had me smiling from ear to ear the entire time. You can just tell that Robo is pleased with these and is having fun with them. This is what our toys could be like, and should be like. Jada is doing it right and hopefully they will motivate other companies to do better so that we can get more toys as good as these.

I love Storm Collectibles because they focus on all the classic fighting games of the 90s, but they're so fkin overpriced,, and only getting more expensive with every damn release... I can't say I'd drop Storm Collectibles 100% for Jada, but I'd DEFINITELY buy Jada figures if they went all in on fighting games and did Darkstalkers, King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, Virtua Fighters, Tekken, Killer Instinct, Primal Rage, Clayfighters, Mortal Kombat, Dead or Alive, Bloody Roar, Soul Caliber,

I'm not a big fan of Street Fighter either but love the characters and these figures are amazing. Extra hands, extra headsculpt and power effect parts for $25? I'm in. I wish Jada could make some KoF figures too, I used to play more KoF than SF as a kid and we really need some cool 6" figures of these characters.

I'd say I'm just a casual fan of Street Fighter, but these figures have topped my want list since I've seen them - something about their sculpt and articulation just has so much flow and dynamic potential. Hope they come to Europe before too long.

The branding on these are "ULTRA Street fighter 2" which was the Nintendo Switch Exclusive that added a couple characters. The roster on that back and side art are also from that game.

These are exceptional. The sculpt and engineering clear done by people that are knowledgeable and have a lot of care. See Hasbro, maximum hip range without drop down is possible. All for $25. I hope they do repaint. Navy gi with yellow headband was always my Ryu color. If they ever get to Third Strike I'm done for. This is the line I've been looking for and hope they eventually do other Capcom franchise so I can build up my MvC. And then maybe other classic games? I need some Castlevania

I'm surprised at just how well these figures fit in with the SH Figuarts Street Fighter line. I have a few of those already, so quite pleased to see that.

I would be in heaven if they picked up the Mortal Kombat license too. I'm collecting the Storm Collectibles stuff, and man, I would love a $25 alternative. These look really good. Can't wait for Guile and Blanka!!

Excited to see where this line goes and see Jada give more options for Street Fighter figs. Here's to hoping Jada can get the whole cast before Hasbro tries to get their fingers on this property like they did with Fortnite. The gi belt has the kanji for wind, wood, fire, and mountain in order, not sure if it means anything beyond that.

I found Fei Long in Target yesterday and figured let me give it a try. Wow, what an amazing figure. Looks fantastic, poses great, comes with an extra head, hands, an effect piece? For 24.99? Oh man Jada just earned themselves a new customer. I couldn't find Ryu, I went looking today so I caved and ordered him on Amazon. I'm definitely getting Chun-Li eventually. No clue where they're going but this is a fun line.

Oh wow, I had no idea you could remove Ryu's gi top like that. To answer your question, he is sometimes shirtless in the games for some costumes, and I think is in the new upcoming game, but he usually has a sleeveless gi top like this, yeah. These are fantastic.

Really really nice. For $25. I’m all in. Need to know if they will carry the pricing to bigger characters like Zangief or Honda or Blanka. I’m sure it’ll go up by $5-10 for the beefier bois. But my old Sota are horribly outdated and the new Storm collectibles are beyond my price range.

There’s an interview with one of the head designers on Toy Migo’s channel. They talked about how they’re aiming to keep it at $25 and for now I believe then since they showed off Bison and Dhalsim, bison is getting all the same accessories plus a cloth cape with wire and everything, Dhalsim is coming with both alternate arms and both alternate legs that are extended with wire inside and both are still going to be $25. If they can keep the price at $25 with those accessories I think they can do it with bigger characters. Also something else cool is they did say they hope to get the full 16 roster, then mentioned that they want to have characters be able to do multiple poses so they want to do player 2 versions with different hands and accessories and they are open to doing accessory packs in the future because they want the characters to be able to do their victory poses as well. They seem to really love the characters and line which is refreshing.

I love fighting games!!! and Street Fighter II was the reason I got my parents to buy me a Super Ninendo. These look like the Street Fighter figures I have always wanted. They look just about perfect, come with FX and at a great price! I really hope they produce the whole roster.

One of their guys did an interview stating that it is their main goal with the line, he said they will focus on doing the whole roster before doing versions or characters from other games. It's up to us to buy enough that they can get there.

Jada Toys is smart taking a lot of inspiration and ideas from figures and lines over the past 10 years, both domestic and import. They're at such a great starting place I'm very happy they've been able to come out the gate swinging and flexing so dang hard. They don't have to fit pre-standard molds like Legends and have designed these figures from the ground up. They seem to be building off of articulation instead of half-ass inserting it into statues like McFarlane. They seem to have a great recipe for extremely flexible plastic which adds so much to the articulation of the figures. With the availability of digital sculpting apps and 3D printing, prototyping should be costing much less money than it used to; and the budget can go to including additional accessories. The price is the icing on the cake. These are the new gold standard for what figures should be coming out from here on out. I really hope this line is successful so we can get many more from other properties as well. We will watch your career with great interest.

I am dearly going to need this Ryu and Chun-Li when she comes out. Fei's such a good figure but he's a character I have less attachment to, so I am undecided with him. I do hope they do ones past SF II eventually, so maybe characters like Sakura.

I have zero interest in the characters, but between your enthusiasm, and that my brain is screaming all the things I could make with a body with that articulation. Was actually shocked seeing them next to the figuarts Ken. This line blows that old figuarts line out of the water. I've always thought it a shame that Tamashii never got to do those figures with updated bodies and articulation.

I am so excited for these to start showing up in stores near me. I've seen two reviews for these now, and Jada just managed to pack so much articulation, paint and accessories into them, along with just... good design decisions like the types of plastic. Plus, I'm not one for in-package collecting, but these boxes are nice! Faces aren't quite my thing since I like the more modern faces, but that's a nitpick when the figures are this good! I was only going to get characters I had a personal connection with, which is just Ryu and Chun-Li, but now? Yeah, I'm all in on this line. Might even get doubles of the first wave to keep in their boxes, to kinda commemorate this line starting. Good job, Jada!

I missed out on the sh figuarts line other than M. Bison. When I got him, the rest were all already $130-$250 from resellers. Only Bison was still at roughly MSRP. Wanted Chun Li but, she was $130+. Hope Jada gets their Chun Li out with not too long of a wait.

I almost didn’t buy these because the price was so cheap. I thought that it was going to be a case of too good to be true. I’m glad my SF fandom took over and I ordered all 3 that were available. Still waiting on Chun-Li, but super happy with my Fei Long and Ryu!

Thank you for showing the Ken figuarts figure next to these. I got as much of the figuarts as I could find/afford and that included Ken, but not Ryu. They almost look like they are from the same line next to each other! The great thing is Jada is so far offering only characters I don't have and at a much lower price than figuarts!

11:08 Ryu's about 5'8, with Sagat originally being 7'0", so they can be mixed with the larger SOTA figures.

Jada Toys cracked the code apparently. Mcfarlane, Hasbro, and Mattel need to take notes. Hopefully Jada can maintain the momentum. They could probably get a good deal of mileage out of these bodies simply changing colors and making flexible clothing with new heads.
