This looks like the SF line I've been waiting for. They're just damn near perfect. Shows a lot of care and expertise by real fans. I hope they do a lot of recolors. Navy gi, yellow head band Ryu was always my pick. And so help me if they get to 3S. I want Jada to get other capcom and video game licenses. Help me build that MvC display and beyond. Castlevania? Snk? No limits.

Between Street Fighter and Megaman under Jada Toys, I think it's only fair and maybe only a matter of time until Jada Toys foes figures from other Capcom properties like Resident Evil, Darkstalkers, Viewtiful Joe etc.

Aside from the look of the flesh, I think this is the best Ryu figure ever! You get a lot for your money, I can't wait to see the rest of characters.

For £20 your getting 2 head sculpts, and awesome hadouken effect piece that actually has Ryus hands within it and a 2nd pair of hands. Not forgetting the incredible figure. They really knocked it out thebpark with this 1 Edit: forgot to mention the box it comes in 😍

Best Jada Toys Ryu Review so far !

I have on pre order...but man I need to cop this...

I saw it at Target, didn't get it, regretted it, assumed it was gone. Still there two days later and mine-O-mine.

This is the most fun toy ive ever played with and im a grown as 40 year old. The toy reminds me of what i always wanted out of the articulation of my favorite characters.

These flew off the shelves at my target. I managed to get Feilong who is equally fire as a figure. I figured there would be a ton of Ryus at some point. Got to buy’em quick though, they were all gone in my target in one day. Lol

This is by far the best review I’ve seen for this figure and I love that you’re a fan. No offense meant to any of the other reviewers out there, but it’s nice to get a rundown from someone who isn’t saying “I’m not really an SF fan.” or “I was more of an MK person.” every other sentence. And this might be the best Ryu figure ever made. This is THE Ryu look. I’m thrilled that Jada went with such a compatible size too. These will go so well with other lines. I think Ryu is 5'10, though it's certainly not always consistent. In any case, makes sense that he's a touch shorter than some of the Legends, since many of those characters are at least 6'0, plus Ryu's got no shoes on. He's still a great size, being well taller than Wolverine, for instance.

I was super happy when jada revealed their street fighter line last SDCC because I could not find that figuarts ryu for a decent price. I love this figure, probably my #1 of the year. A great way I've found to keep the hands together for a hadouken pose is wrapping a small clear rubber band around the hand pegs.

I can't wait for these streey fighter figures! I hope we eventually get Mortal Kombat figures like these too.

I love these. I hope these sell like gangbusters because a line this good needs to be rewarded, especially at like around 25 bucks. That's pretty damn reasonable for what we're getting.

These looks amazing for what they cost. They most definitely blow most other figures in that price point out of the water.

So freaking excited. I love my boy Ryu but honestly I can’t wait for Dhalsim and M.Bison. I’ve seen a hundred Ryus from a bunch of different companies, but Fei Long and Dhalsim are characters I’ve wanted for years but no company has made them before now.
