What Happens After My Release Is Approved by RouteNote?

Күн бұрынWhen you upload a release to RouteNote, for all new artists listed on a release, artist profiles are automatically created by each store as soon as the release goes live. For existing artists, the release will automatically be listed under that existing artist profile.
As an independent artist, it’s important to establish your brand across platforms. Today we look at how to control these artist pages across some of the various stores and streaming services your music has been sent to. Depending on the store, this will allow you to customize your profile, view insights and promote new releases!

Hey RouteNote, so yesterday my single is approved and i’ve selected spotify as one of the stores that i want to distribute, but why doesn’t my song appear on spotify and other stores? need help :(

Hey, Once your release has been approved, it will be available on most major stores within 2 weeks - please note that if you set a sales start date later than this, your release will not become available until that date. In general, Spotify tend to be one of the quicker stores for release availability and usually have your music live within 48 hours of your release being approved. However, this is not guaranteed and your release may become live on each store at any point within 2 - 14 days of approval. hey my track got approved today. And I stated that the sales start date should be 24th of march. So when should I go for Artists page and customize them???? should I wait till 24th and how can I know that my track has been on live and how can i get the pre save link?

Hey, You can get some of your store links from us by heading over to the Artist Services tab of your account. There is a drop-down menu which allows you to hover over Marketing and select URL Requests. This will take you to the Pre-save URL Request form. We will source the relevant links for you as soon as they're made available by the stores. Please be aware that your release will need to be approved before you complete this form. Once your release is live on artist pages you can then claim and customise them. - Lucy

Hey, Downloads will be reported to your RouteNote account the same way streams are. Your earnings and statistics for the majority of stores are reflected on your account 45 days after the month they are earned in; for example - March's earnings will be available from May 15th. Please note that a few of our partner stores report earnings and statistics 75 days after the end of the month or quarterly throughout the year. Hey, Unfortunately stores do not notify us or yourself when a release becomes available, it's just a case of checking the stores. If you sign up to our partners over at PUSH.fm and build a Smart Link, you can automatically find URLs to your release on a handful of stores. It's completely free, all you'll need is a URL to your release on Spotify to get started! Read more here: support.routenote.com/kb-article/what-is-push-fm/ You can get some of your store links from us, including your Spotify URL, by heading over to the Artist Services tab of your account. I'm sorry for the wait! Unfortunately, we are experiencing some delays due to high demand. We're currently approving content within around 6-9 working days of submission to our moderation team, providing that there isn't any further action required from you during the moderation process.

Hey, We're currently approving content within around 4-6 working days of submission to our moderation team, providing that there isn't any further action required from you during the moderation process. Once your release has been approved, our distribution team will send this to your selected stores within 24 hours. Please allow 7-14 days from your approved date for your release to be fully ingested into your chosen stores. If you have set a sales start date on your release for a date that falls after this time frame, your release will become available on your selected date. Thank you for your patience.

Why can't we upload tracks in 48 khz sample rate ?

Hey, Audio must be formatted in stereo as a FLAC or MP3 file. This must be at 320kbps/16 bit and the sample rate should be 44.1kHz. If you have any issues with uploading your audio after checking your files meet these requirements, please contact support@routenote.com with your UPC.

Our new Spotify artist page claiming process is currently in beta, and we are seeing some issues which our engineers are working on fixing ASAP. We are looking to improve this feature in the future and welcome any feedback. If you are unable to claim your artist page through RouteNote, you can still do this by heading to Spotify for Artists to claim your profile, and selecting the 'skip instant access' option when prompted. Hey, You can make changes to your approved release such as adding stores, editing artwork, artist names, album names and other general metadata changes by clicking edit on your release within your discography.
